ATM the PTS is a bit of a joke.

Ruze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.
He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.
You can only pick DC and the three races that belong there. You start with crafting at level 1, guild abilities start at level 1. So you can't try any of the crafted sets without leveling crafting to 50, no food buffs without Provisioning at 50 etc. Not to forget that you can't actually try any of your builds in PvP against other players since all start in DC.NookyZooky wrote: »whats it like?nikolaj.lemcheb16_ESO wrote: »The day they allow people to copy their chars to the PTS is the day we can test these things.

Take decent build, add cheat engine, bingo bango bongo, OP.
Had a stam NB cloak a full 10 times today as I revealed him with a ranged AOE and he was pounded on by several players. One vigor between cloaks and he was at full health several times. Fortunately, he did not have forward momentum and was not also speed hacking so he was always slowed and eventually killed though it took a lot for me, a high sustain magica toon, to keep my mag up enough to keep revealing him. Pots, heavy attacks, the whole nine yards. Cloak is not OP, cheat engine is. There are so many abilities that reveal cloak that I could not name them all. I have 4 on my bar just as a matter of course though.
I watched a who knows what CE user who had somehow gotten into a keep that you can't leap into (which had not been held by his alliance for hours in a locked campaign so I really doubt he was hiding in there) calmly block and walk around upstairs for the entire time his alliance sieged the well defended (20+) keep. He held block the entire time. I saw as many as 6 players on him when I got upstairs. I expect he was up there a while before that as most were not attacking him and players would only hit him so long before being killed or giving up, ignoring him, and healing or resing the players he attacked. He was not entirely invincible but took almost insignificant damage and healed to full with any one healing cast. He also occasionally cast abilities of such power that he killed 5 or 6 players during this. Realistically, the siege was successful because of how disruptive this cheater was. It was probably the most successful CE build I have ever seen. Might as well have been a god mode code in a single player game.
People get killed by this or that and say it is OP. Some abilities and builds are better than others but 95% of the unbalance in this game on both the PVE and PVP side is cheating and who can really even see that little bit that is actually unbalanced abilities. Any attention paid to balancing classes and abilities while cheat engine is ignored is purely a waste of time.
