People have suggested it's the memory leak back again. Post somewhere below.

one of the reasons why I stopped playing thornblade. even in the less populated campaigns like chillrend, crashing is still a problem. it almost drove me insane last I played:( its not my computer I Never had this problem before this latest patch

The last part of your post is very true. My guild had people return this month with hopes of bug fixes specifically the crashes and PvP issues but they came back to the same or new problems and said they would be back again in a few months. Myself and few others have stuck it out since launch. In all honesty I'll be here bugs and all.

Sad to see our game in this state though.

Crash every 1h or so of pvp.

After crashing all weekend in PvP I rebooted, got rid of all unnecessary programs/processes, set game to work in full screen, added EVERYTHING in my Nvidia options, and loaded up ESO.

It functioned flawlessly for 3.5 hours or so. Sympathetic magic or what? Need to test a bit more when I get the chance

A lot of old friends from DAOC has already quit ESO because of the constant crashes, lag issues, abilities not working, etc.. Few came back last week, but have already left because of the crashing 1.3.3 introduced.

In approx. 1-1.5 weeks, they will acknowledge they are aware of the issue.

Actually I did see a forum announcement 7th august with more recent update concering PVP and future of the AWars. from brian wheeler I think.
Cant remember or find it though guys... sorry.

They are looking into the crashes and there was talk of UI control [toggle] of visual effects that should help incompatible graphics systems....maybe.

There are several things to try:

1: Youtube video shows how to do the basics with windows run as admin and compat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xu02I7Aq6ew

2: Memory leaks. Buy more ram on your rig. I have a high end rig. Have quad core i7, 16 gigs of ram and I still see the memory leaking. I can tell by when the ground has residue color left over from effects. This is a problem with the game and some video cards and their drivers. Logging in and out are the only fix for memory leaks due to faulty graphics development ingame. Wow had this problem years ago and fixed it. I hope ESO figures this one out cause it's a major sub killer.

3: Modem is failing. For some reason the way you connect to these mega servers or what I don't know, but if your modem has any fails going on you will see DC's. Contact your provider and demand a replacement! I circumvented this and bought my own. Do research on a good modem. I bought a linksys, cost about $100 bucks but I fly solid.

4: Router ports. I dont' know what ports you need to forward for ESO. But if you have a firewall on your router, you might need to find out what the ESO ports are and open them up in your router. Maybe its time to get a new router.

5: Your software firewall (such as Comodo) might be the cause. Most firewalls ask you if you want to block something. Well, if you accidentally blocked a component used by ESO it will be random. Shut down all firewalls, set them NOT to run with windows! Then reboot and see if your gaming experience gets better.

6: Video card drivers. Don't just update to the latest version of drivers and think you are ok. Sometimes the latest ones can also be a problem. I presently use drivers 1 year old because the new ones caused me issues. Everyone's hardware is different. Make sure your active X from Microsoft are also up to date. Sometimes people install old games or roll back their machine after a crash and don't realize it. Re-installing these helps.

7: system drivers. Yeah, chipset drivers on yoru Mother board can also cause elusive issues. Especially when you have a substandard development team working on a new product like ESO. Obviously they have ton's of bugs to address and haven't a clue where to start. Well losing subs because your software isn't compatible with hardware and their drivers is a big one and I fear this might be many people's issues. Most people just don't know how to do this one. I don't recomend people mess with this one. Go to a professional computer repair for this. If you are a techy maybe try tom's hardware, they have great tutorials on chipset drivers and how to install them.

8: your network card might be failing. If it's an onboard network card, try picking up a new one if all of the above doesn't fix your issue. For some reason ESO seems to be very finicky and will drop you for stuff it shouldn't. I dont' use my onboard, I bought a separate one.

9: Hardware wildcard! HD, RAM, your PSU, MoBo, Graphics card, Network card, there are soooo many pieces that could be the cause. You could try taking your rig into a professional outfit to try to figure this all out. Re-installing windows at a professional outfit is the best thing you can do. Cause they should be able to do all of the above very quickly and cover all the bases. Check up on their reviews on places like yelp and make sure they are MS certified technicians.

I rarely crash any more, but the battle lag and audio f-ups are so horrible the game is essentially unplayable. Especially now that pew pew is so prevalent and when the audio bugs out your dead before you know anything happened, throw some lag in and it is a *** mess.
