I agree completely once they take all the bonuses for hitting low health targets with DW, the crit from 2 dagger DW. mitigation and the movement speed from weapon and shield. Otherwise make the passive permanent since in PVP any decent player will not let you be at 100% health.

Because all those effect class abilities? Right? Because if they don't, your point lacks a point, it's pointless :p

Also it's down to PVE. In PVP far more options are viable as burst is king there. Heck you can be successful with a bow in PVP, if you know your stuff.

funny I hate using my heal staff in DPS.. I can't imagine doing that either

I'm the same. I do channel a heavy between healing occasionally, but if it's damage dealing I want to do, I swap out my healing staff.

Mind you, I always said I suck B)

The resto swap is for single target dps from class abilities. Destro is trash aoe and ulti building in sustained multi mob fights.

I single target with my destro just fine. A lot quicker than sorcs using AoE too...always makes me giggle when there is nothing left but a boss and they have no other resource but a weak (for single target) pulsar to use.

I only use AoE in group dungeons and then only for the crawl, not for the boss fights.

Having said that, I will try the resto with my class abilities and see if there is improvement.

Yes they do affect your class abilities or your overall build and playstyle. Twin Blade an Blunt Weapon Crit for dagger OR damage from sword applies to all skills that do damage or use weapon crit. The sustained mitigation and mobility from Weapon and shield passive is great and doesn't even compare with the freaking 10% damage on full health. The other weapon lines do require some buffs and improvements.

People don't even understand why the resto is so popular though. It is not the Damage bonus or the magicka return on full heavy attacks(full attacks reduce dps). It is just that it is a ranged weapon and it is much more easy to animation clip with it than any other weapon in the game.
