2) Allow us to change armor/weapon traits at crafting stations.
3) Allow us to change styles, as long as we have the resources.
4) SYNC OUR HIRELINGS (I have one giving me items hours later from the others -- make a standard time or give us options to choose a standard time based on selecting from a predetermined list).
5) Allow us to reply to emails by clicking some bound key or a Reply button. Currently I use a mod for that which also saves mail sent (it's nice to have).

This exists. Hit F1, then click the Headset icon. From the list of four tabs at the top, click the Headset again (it should be the first one) and submit your report, and a GM will eventually contact you.
It's not usually fast, but they'll contact you in-game if they see it while you're on. Otherwise it goes to email. I used it to resolve a problem a few weeks ago and they were quite helpful.
A trait or style is something intrinsically set into the crafted piece when you make it. To change either would literally mean having to melt it down and start again. You can't just bash an Orcish sword with a hammer and expect it to look like an Altmer one after a few hits.
the rage..
1. research is supposed to take a lot of time anything worth having is worth taking the time
2. why not just make crafters obsolete
3. why not just make crafters obsolete
4. why does this matter?
5. good idea

A trait should be able to be replaced just as a glyph can be. Style would be nice yes but a trait should definitely be an option to replace.

Actually, I was going to say the opposite. As unrealistic as it is, re-crafting the style of an item for yourself doesn't bother me as much as being able to constantly switch traits on gear in order to improve dropped set gear to the point of being unbalanced.
