2. Pulsar: all the people have light armor and staff spaming this skill 1000 times in each fight (uber skilled gameplay, oh wait...).

If ZOS don't fix it, this is my last month in TESO.

    its deeper than that. its PB-AOE thats the problem again and again. ranged aoe is pityfull in ESO. batswarm and pulsar are the worst i agree. but standards were another but got nerfed a bit , so did talons.

    compare that to a game which had very powerfull ranged AOE's like Warhammer and blobbing never existed. blobbing was suicide cos you were just a big fat target that got nuked into next week.

    you had big zergs but they spread out and keept moving around , if you found yourself too close to other folk you actively moved before a fireball got aimed at you or a dot jumped to you from the guy next to you.

    I really try to use as many different skills as possible but eventually pvp in cyrodill will wind up being" my 3 man squad beat your 8 man squad cause we bum rushed you and hit our impulse simultaneously 3 times real quick before you could roll..and don't worry if you did runaway we chased you and hit it 5 more times in succession" :|

    How about skills that don't work destroying Cyrodiil? Grrr!
    Pro Tip: Form a group of 4 and hang out with the zerg. Now you can claim you only run with 4. I'm l33t

    I came in this thread expecting Fragmented shield and was disappointed. It's a tie between fragmented shield and corrosive armor for me though. At one point Mimiron was have his armor tick for 800 a second. That was insane lol.

    Also have wondered this aloud many times and thought I might try asking here... does every single DC character start with a minimum 100 meatbags? I think at least 10 pop up on the fringes of the combat area every time.

    I think that certain skills need to have cooldowns. Ults have cooldowns. I don't want to see a skills damage nerfed but placing a 5 second gap(is that too long?) between impulses (to me) would be quite acceptable.

    NO CDs! Let's not ruin a good model. There are many other creative and fun solutions that do not involve arbitrary CDs (not like the lazy Cd they put on BE and not fix the issue while killing gameplay options).

    Posted the same thing in another thread:
    I've never had a problem getting out of bat swarm, I only get killed by bats if there multiple other enemies around me, in which case I was most likely not going to survive without good healing anyway. I don't see a need to nerf it, it's pretty easy to avoid, and I don't even have bolt escape.

    Elemental ring is far from the most of ability atm, the lack of strong ranged aoe is a thing that's for sure but it's basically replaced with within with siege the issue is the most defensive moves are the best offensive

    CC immunity is a passive mechanic and not am active skill. Horse upgrades, craft research, and hirelings have CDs too. Lol

    The real problem is the uber damage of AoE skills in this game, is needed a nerf to bat swarm and pulsar, and a buff for heavy armor players and single target skills.

    I guess you haven't noticed large groups are starting to run Energy Orb, Fragmented Shields, Liquid Lighting, Sap Essence etc...

    Nerfing Impulse will have precisely 0 effect on zerging. On the other hand it will have a huge effect on PvE.

    Feel free to ragequit whenever you want. You seem to be angry at the most simple of combat mechanics. Catering to you will do nothing for this game.

    Don't care about PvE for noobs, I'm talking only for PvP. I hate the *** AoE spam fest its always the same when I fight against lamer players, using all the unskilled AoE that I can't block with my shield, why? cause ZOS love this noob gameplay and want all the people are vamp with light armor&staff.

    Oh god, so much ignorance. No skill has cooldowns including ulties. When your ultie reaches 100% you can fire it again right after the last one finished.

    5-sec cooldown when nothing else has CD in the game? I think you should get a 5 day cooldown in the corner and think about what you've said.

    Subscription cancelled due to the following facts:

    - Zenimax implements more bugs from patch to patch
    - Zenimax does not care about the increasing instability of the game. People have more and more crashes Fix of memory bug decreased number of crashes considerably
    - Zenimax has still not fully fixed the fps drops they (!) implemented with patch1.2.3
    - Zenimax does nothing to fix the massive ability lags in PvP
    - Zenimax gives more attention to unnecassary 'content' like dyes for armors than fixing issues
    - In patchnotes Zenimax lies about bugs allegedly fixed
    - Zenimax has no plan as to how balance population in Cyrodiil campaigns
    - Support is ineffective and does not even speak in a way one can linguistically understand

    Are these the only counters to impulse spam you [snip] can come up with? What do you do when you see a blob at your keep? Do you just stand outside the keep and let them take the flags? What if you are a melee dps? What if some of them decide to follow you with rapid manuever?

    My god some of you people are dumb.

    Impulse blobbing needs to go. AoE caps need to go.

    Think you misread. I said *buff* the damage... and add a cast time. PBAoE's should be high risk, high reward. If you can stand in the middle of a group of tards and cast a PBAoE you should kill the tards...

    The problem I personally see with Pulsar is that it's usable on the move... you never have to stop running. That makes it much lower risk. Catering to me is exactly what should happen :) They were trying to hit that niche DAoC market, and that's me.

    there are lots of ways to prevent from dying, maybe people wont share their tactics for the reason, its something they do in guilds.

    I have been able to kill 10vs2, because they were noobs and only did pulsar spam and didnt realized I had well, both thrown caltrops to slow them down, and a little negate shield on top of them
