Final battle with Faolchu is broken

Just a heads up for anyone preparing to battle Faolchu at the end of the quest "The Fall of Faolchu" ALL of the weapons and spells will only do 10 damage! Since he has a heath over 13000 expect to sit there for 15 minutes or more. Also his damage isn't nerfed like your is.

If it wasn't for my pet and using the destruction stall knock back it would have been a really tough fight if all I was using was a melee weapon.

So be prepared to have a something to keep him at bay, and take a bathroom break before you start.

Here's a screen shot with FTC showing the damage:

Yeah, another "I didn't pay attention to the quest giver and rushed right in". You are told to walk him into the fire. Which hits him for massive damage. Your damage during that fight is minimal. The whole point of the fight is to run around and have him chase you through the fire puddles. Which kill him. This is the reason Doshia was nerfed to hell because people can't/couldn't figure out that with harvesters you have to target the orbs to win.
Do the above, and while its not a 15 minute fight, it is quite long and tough.

Lol, knew I should have looked at the screenshot before I posted. You are using clench on a boss, your execute, bound armor, and a clannfear at v7? No wonder you're having a tough going. You are gonna only kick out around 50 dps that way, if that. Look up some of the sorc builds. At that level your dps should be around the 400-500 range.

What you are stating is incorrect, My staff heavy attack is around 476 damage as show in the screen shot below:

I did pay attention to the quest giver, but I didn't think I needed the fire since his health was only 13000. What I was wondering is if the nerfing is intentional since I never seen this before and I'm now on my 3rd alliance zone. Usually when you have to use something to help you beat the boss, the boss has a huge health well over 13,000. There was no mention of a spell or anything that the boss would use to dampen my attacks, even the pet was only dealing 10 damage.

The fight was really easy, even though my weapons were nerfed. I did put in a bug report.

    Hello.

I've killed this boss just yesterday with my Templar. I'm using heavy armor with a 2H axe.

The DPS with my character was normal respect with other bosses or mobs, in a few seconds the boss was killed without put the boss on fire. I don't know what it's wrong in your character, but not it's normal the DPS from your screenshot.

Did you look at the screenshot of my second post? The heavy attacks returned to normal once I left the building.

Beat the vr6 version of it earlier, saw fire... torched him a bit... did damage to him as well, 2-3 mins after he was dead, keep in mind the fire seem to be area of effect meaning you can be hurt by it as well.

And honestly harvesters has never ever been OP either lol... hit the balls litterally and spin around and you live to fight another day.

I finished it today. Noticed I was doing very little damage. Remembered the fire thing (and how many times that was repeated in conversations). Sniped from behind fire and wore him done much more easily.

While this is the right solution to the OP's problem, I couldn't help feeling cheated in that fight. I was told he's weak to fire. Wonderful, I thought, I'm a DK with fire-enchanted weapons, this should be a piece of cake. And then my skills turned out to be useless...
