As with ANY game that's been released, the players will have thoughts on how the game could be better. This could be anything from a different way an existing feature could have been implemented, to things that aren't in the game that they think should/ could be in~
My question to you guys is what do you guys think should be improved/ implemented to make this game a better experience over all?
I'll start it off~
1- Playable Dremora Race
1.2- Daedra type mounts
2- Playable Dwemer Race
2.2- Dwemer-crafted mounts
This is just something I'd personally like to be able to do. Play as either of these glorious races. Since most probably won't agree with having these in seriously put in the game, there's limitless room for exploring mounts for these races, how about riding a Clannfear or a Dwemer styled cycle (steampunk ftw!)
3- Fist type weapons
3.2- Unarmed Skill tree
4- Spear weapons
4.2- Spear skill tree
5- Crossbow weapons
5.2- Crossbow skill tree
They say variety is the spice of life, needless to say that also goes for how people like to murd- er I mean defeat their opponents.
6- Weight value for items
(character unique)
7- Arrow ammo for bows
8- Harvest Node items
(pickaxe, axe, fishing pole)
These are more things I'd personally enjoy. While it's cool I don't need to have a pickaxe to get those Ore nodes, I find it odd that I'm using an item I don't even have in my inventory~
While it's cool I have an unlimited supply of arrows for bows, I've been raised in games that did. Runescape (an MMO for those with the argument that having a limited arrow supply would be detrimental over all to the game >.>,) DnD (basically an MMO with more emphasis on Multiplayer rather than Online,) and Morrowind/ Oblivion/ Skyrim (the previous Elder scrolls games. If you didn't know that, for shame!)
As for weight values, it was a rather integral aspect in Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim that I'm kind of sad it wasn't kept. I'm keeping my example to those three plus DnD because there are MANY games that revolve slightly around this aspect, I'd be wasting people's time with explaining every one~
9- Impact sounds on non-sentient solid surfaces
(walls, doors, furniture, etc)
10- Proper environment interactions
(walking over coals deal burn damage)
These I'd find to be excellent QoL additions. While not high on my priority list~ I'd like to hear the clang of metal against rock if I were to hit the wall with my weapon, maybe a small impact if I'm using a hammer type weapon. Blast marks wouldn't be out of place if I were to shoot a staff and the projectile hits (once again) a wall or something~
As for enviroment damage, This made my list primarily because the open coal pits in Davon's Watch residences. While I know it's not something big that need to be looked at, it's kinda weird if I can walk over this open coal pit and not take any kind of damage.
11- Horseback combat
Do I really need any explanation for this? It was introduced to Skyrim (via DLC but whatever~) so it CAN be done!
12- Player character residence
Again, I'm listing a feature from other ES games. It'd be nice if players had their own little house or camp they could utilize. Maybe have different places in the world where such a thing could be bought and set up? I don't know. One of the benefits I can directly see this granting is something akin to the bank, only this wouldn't be accessible to EVERY character like the bank actually is.
13- Crime/ punishment system (being added!)
(in store weapons should be linked to the store and considered theft to
take them (weapons and armor only)
I know this is coming into the game. I don't know when, but I can't wait to be able to kill NPCs and actually worry if I'm going to get caught stealing something (Looking at you Jode's Chariot in Grahtwood~) since they made it so a number of the various armor/ weapon racks can be accesses (only for removing) maybe they can be tied to the store and add into this?
14- Remaining game time
(in game)
QoL that they could add to your character menu. I don't mind not having it, since I can just go to the website to see this information, but this could be done relatively quickly I'd think~
15- Full on lootable bodies
(being able to loot armor off of bodies (with proper armor values, low to no chances for enchantments, low to no chances for traits, little to no deconstruct value and 0 gold value regardless of what level it is, like armor from armor stands)
Once again, feature of previous ES games. While not very advisable (especially if my suggestion for weight values ever becomes a thing and the fact it takes up more inventory space, I'd like to have the choice of looting a body for its weapon or maybe a piece of armor. That's all~
See? simple, just a list of things I'd like to see in the game. if you agree, great, if not, that's cool. Feel free to criticize, just please keep it calm and collected, and not make a huge deal if you don't particularly agree with something? That'd be awesome.
