Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – April 8, 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC) - 6:00PM EDT (22:00 UTC)
We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

Finally Craglorn is busy again !

After posting several thread about the demise of Craglorn and the amount of people running anomalies, I'm pleased to say things are looking much better !
Maybe its just more people around due to the latest update, maybe its because the loot drops seem to have been buffed a little and people now think its worth the time to do anomalies again (apart from the none VR12 drops)

Anyway over the last few days I've seen more people in Craglorn than I've seen in the last month !

Even when just farming mats its been nice to see groups of people running around. Even nicer to be able to find a group in a matter of minutes and not hours !

Well done Zeni, nice one !

:)

EDIT -
One other thing I noticed was that the last few weeks/months even when you did find a group that was basically it. Yesterday and today we actually had other groups around at the same time so we had to fight against some of them to make sure we did the most DPS, this was definitely an added plus !

:)

The game is more crowded lately. Even before the patch it was more crowded, but some of that could have been people chasing achievements.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Now if they would all stop doing that stupid Harpy Egg quest in the Alkir Desert. Get off my eggs you chuckleheads! It seems like it is harder to phase items then it is the phase NPCS. We can have 20 people standing around all talking to their version of an NPC, but when 20 people need 4 eggs the world grinds to a stand still.

VR zones are looking a bit more populated in general; I think people are prepping for the new champ system.

I have been trying to complete all the delves and am looking into doing the quests with my guild over time. I hated the idea of this area when it came out, but trials aside (which I tried and yea they were kind of fun) it's been enjoyable.

Yep I'm one of those people who's been in Craglorn exclusively last week or so and I love it there! It's not hard to find a delve/quest group. when i do find one the grouping has been generally succesful with all of us parting on good terms. Otherwise I'm happy to run around farming mats and fighting the mobs on the side. I really like the group delves as they have the feel of vet dungeons but are easier and take less time to complete. Still discovering new things every day. Yesterday I was in a group of 4 and we saw a celestial rift so naturally activated it. We all charged confidently into the fight thinking we will just stomp whatever comes out. But after the initial wave lots more enemy warriors came through and then a giant gargoyle at the end. We still won in the end though.
I spent the last 6 weeks maybe grinding the VR zones and honestly I found VR 6-10 zone a bit of a chore. To go up in ranks you have to do the quests in each zone and end up skipping the dialog because everything just feels monotonous. It was fine until 3rd faction but then something just clicked and it became a grind. Craglorn though doesn't feel as grindy. I think main reason you can repeat the content and still get xp on it, plus you're free to explore and aren't forced into quests if you don't want.
If Zenimax made more zones like this I think it would be great.

When they "fix" the trial loot to be BoP again Craglorn will empty.

Cant understand why some people is against the loot to be BoE, as i understand it just created a market and a reason to do the trials...

It makes their e-peen shrivel when someone can get something they have without 'earning' it, that's how they see it.

I'm going to throw it out there, what is craglorn...
Is it good for farming and exp/VP? Better then questing over tamriel?
If so I might give it a go, if not then its wasted on me... lol

Yes if you are Veteran rank you should give Craglorn a go. It is good for farming loot and XP. You can join grinding groups that give you 40-50k XP per run. I think its faster xp than in VR zones. As a light introduction you can maybe find a shadow grind or burial grind group then go from there. Will you find it more interesting than questing in VR zones? Hard to say. Personally I found VR 6-10 quest stories lost my interest. It all feels the same: go to this area, loot this chest, kill this commander etc. Craglorn Is less story driven and more exploration driven IMO. It actually has a lot of nice looking areas and a lot more boss fights. You will probably want to find a group though because the creatures you encounter are quite tough.

I've noticed an increased number of players in the veteran zones as well.

Same here, in regard to number of players in veteran zones. I just signed off at roughly 5 a.m. CDT, and I actually saw other players still running around the VR Grahtwood zone. Zone chat was going, too.

Wait what.... lol dude all I ever see in chat is LFGrind, quest/delve LFG, vr dungeon groups, and very rarely do I see anyone looking for trials. I do see the same like 6-10 people spamming WTS "trial gear" though if that's what you are talking about.

I never knew that there was an issue with the Craglorn population. Every thread that I read prior to the VR nerf was just the opposite with people complaining that everyone was grinding in Craglorn instead of going through the VR zones.

I do spend quite a bit of time at the Rivenspire bank and crafting stations and have seen a jump in the number of people in that zone. It might be crowded with people leveling alts because it takes less than a week to get to VR12, now.
