Hello, I came to ask some tips to improve my crafting leveling. I read some guides and tried them but didn't get good results.

I tried the method to trade with an other player and deconstruct his stuff but it didn't gave as much XP as I was expecting. Is crafting really that slow, or am I missing something?

At the 3rd zone, solely deconstructing stuff I got from drops/quests, I achieved lv.15 in Black, Cloth and Wood. My Enchanting got around lv.12 deconstructing looted glyphs and reading on some bookshelves, also translating some runes. My Alchemy got to lv.19 without problems and I didn't even collect many ingredients. My Provisioning is 50...

Now I understand with lv.15 on equipment crafts you can purchase the perk to craft on level gear. My fear is that I'll get into a zone that I need say lv.40 gear and the skill won't scale as fast. Before you think otherwise, I did try hard work collecting materials, making equipments and deconstructing them.

Just look a bit ridiculous I got to Prov 50 in a lv.25 character and 15 on the other crafts. Of course I understand to you be a master crafter you must spend time in-game else everyone and their mother would be. So I'm not looking for a way to get equipment craft to lv.50 in a day, just the most efficient way to do it, because it's sad you follow the guides available and see the crafting inspiration bar moves in slow motion.

The level of the profession has little to do with the ability to make better stuff other than unlocking higher tiers but is very lenient of that.

You should be leveling your equipment skills at about the same pace of your level maybe just a little slower depending on whether you gather materials regularly and craft the highest tier you can make and trade them to another player for theirs to decon. Do not decon your own items. It helps to be in a tight guild that has many crafters so you can deposit what you make in the bank and pick up what others deposit.

Provisioning is the easiest to level but has no meaning if you dont have the recipes and perks to make it valuable.

Enchanting being the hardest to level just takes time because there is no other checks in place to keep it balance as far as putting time into it. For enchanting it is pretty much the same thing as the others. Except I would probably refrain from crafting your own after you have learned all the runes and just decon every glyph you come across. Sell your lower level runes in chat or guild store. Keep all your purple and yellow runes and sell the white, green and blue ones.

This is my opinion from leveling all the skills. All my skills are maxed except enchanting mainly because I haven't gathered much but for what it is my level 12 character that does enchanting is level 20.

There's no other way but to rely on other players to trade? I dislike that concept when is about tuning a character's skill but the guild suggestion was superb, I'll look for ones in my area.

If you want to do it faster yes, you can do it on your own it will just take much longer.

Problem was I didn't notice much difference in the XP when attempting it with my friend, I was expecting a boom. It seemed to me you will need to decon a million items, and seems painful to find someone to trade at every turn, maybe I have better luck in a guild.

Well if you are trading lower level items it isn't going to help much. Increasing your higher tier skills will let you do higher level stuff which in-turn will give you more inspiration.

I deconstruct every item I pickup except the ones I research. Max in clothing solely from this. Not sure how fast you is fast for you.

I also traded gear with others in the other crafts and the increase was very noticeable.

You get more exp deconstructing green/blue/purple items then white.

Also there are items with "intricate" that give the most exp.

If you keep deconstructing the looted items (specially those with Intricate trait on them) you will always be able to craft on level gear. At least it worked for me. I reached lvl50 in all 3 gear crafts when I was veteran rank 4. I was not exchanging any daggers or whatever people suggest, just deconstruct the cheaper items and sell to a vendor the more expensive ones.

Alchemy is easy to max as well. Not as easy as provisioning, but you will get it up to lvl50 soon enough.

Enchanting is the only craft which takes a lot of time and effort.

I've reached level 50 in all crafts, using the advice posted here. If you want to hit 50 in crafting, do the same. Always work at the highest level possible, so keep putting points in skills. It's essential to find a trading partner for enchanting. It also helps a lot for smithing, though you can progress in those through deconstructing everything except unresearched traits and items you equip. If you find yourself sitting on a lot a mats and no trading partner, make and break items yourself. It's not efficient, but does advance crafts and frees valuable inventory slots. Besides dungeon and quest drops, chests are a reliable source of greens and some blues, find a route to hit them repeatedly as they respawn. Keep on top of trait research, you get inspiration for every trait researched.There are no shortcuts, just pay your dues.

Does that work? The crafter you trade with can be from your account? I had heard the decon partner has to be an entirely different person.

It works, you get more crafting exp from an alt than from your character's crafts.

You probably do get even more from another player's crafts, but it does work.
