Yah cuz as many other forum posts have proven lore is respected in this game. It's not like we can find books in bookshelves that won't be written for hundreds of years.
I don't care if the egg costs 100k gold and you have to feed it or make it earn experience to make it grow or what ever (Lineage II), make it hard if you want, very hard, but please...
I want to fly a Dragon. As a Dunmer Dragon Knight I feel my class is unfinished without it. And well I'm not against sharing with other classes/races (except with Argonians, slaves should go on foot).

A convenient (yet silly) explanation for the presence of the books exists in the game, and gives us the ability to have more than ~15 books to read. That's a fairly minor bump in the road compared to "oh btw there were dragons and we tamed them and everybody just forgot."

The explanation was just there because of the fact they didn't want to write older lore. Just as a convenient and silly explanation for the books can be found, an other one can be used for tamed beasts that fly.
I want to see the world from above 8), especially the argonians.

Then stand on a chair.

That comment clearly indicates you don't know what you're talking about as far as this subject is concerned, as the experience of many years of this in WOW shows there are many negative effects caused by allowing flying in games like this, not to mention more widely felt effects on the community as a whole.why impose a veto on other people's choices when it doesn't affect you?.
Dragon... eggs?
must no throw a lore fit, must not throw a lore fit...
*deep breath*
No.

Why do you care what other people do? Nobody is forcing you to be awesome & ride a flying mount. You can say it doesn't interest you, that's fine but why impose a veto on other people's choices when it doesn't affect you?
Nobody is forcing you to look to the sky & see an awesome dude riding his dragon.
