Died because I don't see health points going down.

So a Nightblade jumped to attack me, hit me with his dual wield weapons. I didn't saw any health points going down. How I can know when to take a potion ? Or do my basic survivability skills and tactics ? Then I die, from 100% life to Zero.

What the hell is going on ?

In my death recap I can see the damages, but not in real-time when the fight occurs.

I had a problem with this myself and it was because my health bar wasn't in my face. I installed an addon called Curvy Hud (which is on ESOUI) and it put my resource bars right in my face so it's much easier to track my character's health. You might consider doing the same.

Lag.

I constantly die with 200-300 hp left. Usually when I get to 300 I just give up. There's no point in keeping up the charade from 300 to 0. I'm most likely dead on the server already...I just don't know it yet.

Auto-target projectile the game also has a tendency to apply the damage before the projectile actually hits you. If it calculates enough damage to kill you then it goes into a pre-death phase which can be very annoying thinking you can get a heal or shield off, but nope.

I don't think anyone actually sees all the animations that are hitting them. It's worse for some of us than others and depends on our own lag, server lag and just.. random Zenimax factor.

Plus there is new feature in the game right now related to bows called "guess that health".

I hit one guy about 5 or 6 times, his health did not decrease. Never happened prior to 1.3.3. Initially I just figured he was a dk with dragon's blood.

Very true. If you're lucky you might even be able to have enough time to use a potion or use your ultimate. You will still die, but at least you tried.

I'm not a noob, I'm always looking at my health bar.

This time, my ennemy was attacking me, dealing damages, sending magics, etc. But my health bar was still FULL (Even when I received "swallow soul" and light attacks and everything he was throwing at me, My health points won't decrease). Then *boom* I died.

From 100% to Zero Health point in a second.

Has been happening to me quite often in Cyro. Frustrating to say the least. Even better is when my framerate dips to about 1 frame per 5 secs. When this happens I just crouch and hope in those few seconds I'm not dead.
