VR12 Gear doesn't Drop ! Am I missing the Point ?

As many people did I went to Craglorn pretty much as soon as it opened (well VR2 for me anyway). Did some of the first quests, ran some anomalies, in fact ran a lot of anomalies....lol

Anyway.. at VR2 the chests, mobs, anomalies dropped VR2 gear, at VR3 they dropped VR3 gear and so-on up till VR11 all was good.
Well I dinged VR12 yesterday (finally after the grind of eternity) and thought I run around Craglorn doing my usual my usual mats farming and a few anomalies.

And WTH... at VR12 Craglorn only drops VR11 gear ! ?
At first I thought it might have been a glitch to do with the new update. But no, after chatting with some peeps in a group I was with it turns out none of the soloable stuff will drop VR12 gear !

I don't care if trials and Craglorn dungeons are supposed to be the pinnacle of this game, at VR12 drops should grant VR12 gear (even if its only mediocre stuff)

@Zenimax you guys didn't just screw the pooch... you literally #@*%! it to death ! ! !

Thanks for shafting the solo players yet again !

Mate calm the f*ck down. This is an MMO and you expected the very end of the end-game to be easy? Goodness. If you want to be constructive talk about why Zenimax shouldn't be changing the drop-rate of VR12 gear (if that's even a thing). All I hear from this is "rant, rant, cry".

You're so right... oh hang on... I can't quite see where it was I'm asking for Craglorn to be easy ! ?

What I'm saying if you bother to read it properly is that at every VR level the gear drops are appropriate to your characters level 'apart' from VR12 when all you get is VR11 gear !

Just FYI - You can craft all your very own VR12 gear. As a solo player. That is all.

Craglorn is a Vet 11 zone. If you want Vet 12 gear drops, you have to run trials or Crypt of Hearts. If you could get the best gear on your own the there would be no incentive to group up. It is an MMO after all.

You can try soloing the trials, or COH if you really need v12 drops. Or you can play in cyrodiil.

Firstly MMO doesn't automatically mean forced to group !
Second... I never asked for the best gear to be dropped. that's fine for it to come from high-lvl end game 'or' maxed out crafting. But if every VR1-11 level has comparative VR level gears drops, so should VR12 !

^ Its does, you just got to do the vr12 content. Craglorn itself is not vr 12 content. I dont go to starter zone and expect vr 12 to drop either.

Dude group four mans are getting shafted too dont worry nothing of value in the four mans. on top of that you can farm mats for rares far faster then break downs in dungeons. crafters are dying to the BOE Purple trial gear its all Backwards. Some one was on acid when they started their design concept white board. Not gonna lie i don see this game righting itself before they lose another 20 %retention at the very least.

ther server was packed with 1.3 for about four hours. sure they suckered some subs back but many of my old friends from launch quickly unsubbed when they realized the Stamina and tank builds were still not needed.

1. The difference between VR11 gear and VR12 gear is negligible if you're not planning on running group endgame content.
2. There is no MMO that allows you to get the best endgame gear drops through soloing. It just doesn't happen.

While I have a few complete Warlock sets (VR12), etc.. I like to play ALL of the content. I don't think people should be able to become VR12, but then be forced to play trials in order to find VR12 gear (or have to buy them at over-inflated prices in zone chat).

It should drop VR11 when that is your level, then VR12 when that is your level. And while the difference isn't much, you'd be surprised what lengths people go to just to see "VR12" on their gear instead of "VR11".

I definitely agree that VR12 should be dropping around Craglorn as well, not just in two different trials only.

I removed the unnecessary portions for you. I love how you say Zenimax is shafting the solo players yet again as if the game hasn't been majorly developed and tweaked for solo players. What are you talking about? If you want V12 gear you can either find a group to do trials or vet dungeons or if solo you can pvp for gear or craft your gear which is on par with everything else.

Think your post might be just a *TAD* melodramatic for the described concern. I doubt Zenimax is actively working to shaft the solo player or anything else. Not sure if this is just a sense of entitlement or maybe paranoia? Do you also see any black helicopters coming after you by chance?

As Vahrokh said, Craglorn is a VR11 zone so it drops VR11 gear. The trials and the VR12 vet dungeon Crypt of Hearts drop VR12 gear.
