Currently (based on the Cycle 1 to Cycle 2 switch on the original campaigns) this is not the case.

Essentially all we will get is an extension of the same population we had before (with the same results) with a zeroed out leaderboard.

IE: Haderus will still be majority AD, BoS will still be majority EP, etc.

When a campaign is reset it should reset EVERYTHING on the map.

As a second off topic question - why did all the incumbent emps at the end of second cycle (patch 1.3.3) keep their emperor title? Should they not be former emperors now since their campaigns no longer exist?

NO NO NO

It is persistant world. What you accomlish stands and matters until enemy players take action to change it. Resets just make it feel like anything you do does not matter. This game uses Darkage of Camelots and Planet Sides 2's system, which we wanted

When you reset the map you have the same problem that Warhammer and GW2 had. Everyone just gives up and waits for the reset. People actual say 'why take anything today, it will all reset tomorrow"

Stop looking at the score, winning the campaign is like a small bonus, the real reward comes from controlling the map for its current bonuses. Which can be done at any time during the campaign regardless of the score and with this system there is no waiting for resets you have to actually do stuff
