The Imperial Daedric motif will come out when the Imperial City is released.

It's a motif? thought it was crafted only from using the crafting station in market district. maybe I'm wrong?

good question. I haven't seen the video with all this stuff and don't have audio atm.

That doesn't sound right. The ONLY way you can craft the new Imperial Daedric armor/weapons is if your Faction controls the Market in cyrodil (once it's open). 1-14 Motifs now are craftable at ALL crafting stations, not just one. So it's more likely that it will not have a Motif but it's world location IS the "set" like one would normally go to XX location to craft a set bonus.

wait doesn't that mean you wouldn't be able to craft daedric imperial with any of the crafted set bonuses? That makes it pretty much useless.

I don't believe they should change current motifs. There are players out there who prefer those styles, believe it or not. And what's wrong with more options?

Instead, if they add other variations of Daedric (or any style, as I'm currently wanting Skyrim Ebony as a personal preference), adding all those new art assets, they should make them equal 'Daedric Motif - Variation 1' (current) and 'Daedric Motif - Variation 2'.

As a personal preference, they would add more Motifs, and less set styles. I want the option to craft these styles using existing crafting set bonuses (I craft every bit of my gear on all my characters). It would definitely add more depth to the personalization of the game.

He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.

This is an multiplayer game. I should be able to log in, join a dungeon, join a battleground, queue for a dolmen or world boss or delve, teleport in, play for 20 minutes, and not worry about getting kicked, failing to join, having perfect voice coms, or being unable to complete content because someone's lagging behind. Group Finder and matchmaking is broken. Take a note from Destiny and build a system that allows from drop-in/drop-out functionality and quick play.

That's a very good point, unless that station in the Market District will have ALL set bonuses available to it, like a master crafting station.

A master crafting station would be awesome.

A master crafting station in the middle of PvP territory, subject to fair play and cooperation, would be a huge point of crying and complaint the moment it's discovered. They'd better make a new forum category before they launch this ...

Yes, I believe everyone is exited for the new Daedric Imperial armor soon to come, along with the Imperial City. I hope this thread helped Jared Carr come to this decision to introduce a new Daedric armor. #Excited

Styles are all quite similar but then they are all trying to be functional so they would be. No armourer would ever put form over function

I'm curious about the development of the deadric armor as a massive fan of ES games still have them all on my PC and have loaded morrowind, oblivion and Skyrim today to flick through the Deadric armor I always use it always my favourite set (apart from glass version from morrowind ) so you can imagine my disappointment when I got to this game.
My main question is did they even look at past ES deadric armor before creating there style and how the managed to get it so wrong it should be the most evil badass looking armor in the game. I have had Armor quest rewards whilst levelling that looked more badass than the current deadric style.

Maybe they will open it up to modders eventually and they can fix the look of this armor and some others.

    Good evening players,

Most of you know the image of the current Daedric Armor and let's face it, it's just plain horrible. I was expecting more of a Skyrim Style or even like what we saw from the cinematic trailers. I for one would love to see a change in the Daedric style like seen in this image.

Comment below your feelings on the Daedric Style, hopefully we see some sort of improvement in future patches.

This is the Imperial Deadric styles wich was shown at the Quakecon for the future release of the Imperial City.

So, you will be able to get that style.

I don't like the shoulders at all.

Also they really should fix all the floating parts in armours (weapons too). Those are quite distracting.

I just made a full light daedric set (save the helm, which is breton, because the face mask is cool, and the pants because I didn't want a skirt)

I like it. I don't use heavy but that looks nice too.

Mine is lycanthropy grey and ruby throne red (gotta use it while I still have it)

Hmm -- guess I never seen one. I know they have them, but never seen the bindings on heavy plate armor.

Or I could just be thinking of fantasy armor from D&D

If anything, dye stations have made the situation worse. I see all sorts of Tron-themed dung beetles running around V+/++ areas now.

Yes, I was aware but thanks for confirming that. I believe it is slightly different then the image I showed but either way I'm very exited.
