Help with my mini guild

Does anyone want to help me out with my new guild? I want to create a new guild for my mates who are coming onto ESO in the next few days. But there will only be 5 of us. I'm already a member of a couple of guilds but want to create a mini one for us. The problem I have is the guild needs at least 10 members before the bank and heraldry is available. Does anyone fancy using one of their spare guild slots? You'd have access to anything we put in the bank (within reason, obviously).

In return, I can do the same thing with one of my free guild slots if you need it.

The problem isn't the 10 members, but how everything seems to revolve around the guild system itself.

What do you mean? Seems to work well so far... Although annoyingly, I need 50 members to get the store working! I can understand why they've done it, but a general auction house like WoW would have been better.

I mean, it seems weird that everything like guild banking, the kiosks, the tabards, etc, etc. revolves around a system that wasn't even in the TES series period, with the exceptions of the Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, and the others.

Granted this is an Mmorpg experience, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, but in a way, Zenimax is crippling players who aren't in a Guild, or like yourself, who just want smaller guilds with a group of friends, by eliminating the use of certain options in the game.

It doesn't sound like you "want" 5 more guild members, it sounds like you "need" them. This of course is to access more options, correct? If you had the choice not to have more members, it would most likely just be a static party/guild, right? At least, that's how I'm seeing it.

Yup, I agree with you there. I can see why they've done it... otherwise, everyone would just create a guild just to expand their bank space... but even if they set the lower limit to two people, that would eliminate that.

Yes, I need five people. But that's not to say I wouldn't be happy to run dungeons, help out, etc...

Back in April, I was made a low ranking guild officer with bank access in a guild of 50+ people. Everybody else in that guild has now unsubscribed, or at least not logged on for a month or more, so I have a guild bank of 500 slots all to myself. I don't actually use it as personal storage yet, because quite frankly it feels like an exploit, but it's tempting. 500 slots are about what I have on my five mules together, but a proper bank would be so much more convenient.

Sorry, I have a couple characters on the EU, but I they are only there for when the NA is down. If you don't mind an inactive account I'd join just to get your numbers up for bank/store requirements.

That is fine with me... and when you do play on EU, you can always trade and join up with us if you want :) If you're happy to do that, send me your name and I'll invite. Thanks again
