if i wanted to create a neat set of armour from different styles and types, is there anywhere that i can go to help me plan it? i know it can't be done in game, but there are skill-planner sites, are the any suit-planner sites?

would be nice to mix and match pieces to find a good look :D

already googled, but have to admit - not sure what to google for, what to call it, so i'm asking ppl instead...

The above link for ESOFashion will get you started.

Coincidentally enough, this is exactly what I have been doing this week. I need to create my Vet12 armor set and I wanted something different for the looks as I have been using the Daedric Motif for the last 8 Vet levels.

So I went to ESO Fashion and took a look at what was there.

I then decided upon quite a few looks that I was interested in and kept notes on the process.

Then I went in game and created several pieces with different motifs for each armor piece, all white in quality (no upgrades) with no traits.

I then mixed and matched the look I liked. Oddly enough, the look that I came up with and liked was a majority of the Altmer motif. Go figure.

I think from a design standpoint the Altmer motif has a clean, uncluttered look. I like Breton for the same reason. There's nothing I hate more than fake buckles all over the place, sort-of Nordic/Roman Punk. Imperial, what's up with that??

The Dies have changed this dramatically. For me, the color of the armor is more important than the overall style. I mostly see the color from a distance anyway. So, now I just pick Breton or Altmer for the males, and still pick Argonian for the females, then dye it the way that I want. Although, the stock colors for female Argonian is hard to beat.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
