I hope they NEVER remove the sub fee. I would rather the game close its doors forever than have to deal with all the freebie fly by night FOTM gamers who log in just to cry about any number of moronic garbage people feel they are "entitled" to. Sub fees keep at least a portion of those gamers, who have the attention spawn of a baby knat, over tossing out their demands on the freebie games.

Yessum, betta keep dat der low income riff raff out ya hear! Day ain't worth the nickle boss man pays dem wif on sundays! :p

You got that right, in spite of sarcasm. Ban the "special snowflakes."

Only problem with your idea about the game not being done when it was released is that it really was done. You don't need the dlc to play Skyrim. The game functioned perfectly well before the dlc was released. I could and did play the whole Dragonborn questline from the executioner's block to watching the aurora ripple across the sky in Sovngarde after killing Alduin. The game was done. The dlc that added additional content was just that; additional content that added to the game. There were many people who declared they wouldn't buy the dlc. Their games worked. They couldn't adopt kids or build houses, but the full game of Skyrim; the story about Alduin and the end of the world was there, and complete. They chose not to get the added content.

I wouldn't have wanted to wait for the additional months it would have taken to get the dlc included in the original game, which would have increased the price as well. And the possible glitches and issues. It was while they were trying to patch a bug in the original game that they made the dragons fly backwards. Talos knows what would have happened if they'd have held off and released all the content together.....

But that's the thing. There were bugs in the game. You managed to get through the game, however I had a main quest NPC walk off a bridge and die from falling damage. Good thing I was playing on PC and could console to spawn him again. My friend playing on the Xbox lost over 45 hours of play time because he had a saved game in a cave in an underwater complex and whenever he went underwater in either direction he insta-died. And you even mentioned them trying to fix a bug and making dragons fly backwards. That was hilarious.

That is what OP is complaining about. They thing that they should buy a finished, polished game with no problems. And when we get a new Update it shouldn't have problems. They were comparing this recent update to buying a loaf of bread and only getting 3 slices. Apparently, releasing an Update that includes Dyes and Guild Features, that then result in breaking existing armor colors and taking down all guild functionality for two days is promising a loaf and only giving a few slices.

The thing is all, TES games have always run like this, MMO or not. Major patches followed a day or two later with hotfixes. Welcome to TES, welcome to MMO, welcome to TES MMO. Welcome to ESO.

Hey thanks for being a MMO snob and showing me a bit more of why MMO are not for me.
For the record I DID buy the game thinking I would get a game that I could play without worry but you are very correct in that I was wrong... I mean with the latest flaw to the game I can now enjoy by having my main weapon, the Bow, being so screwed up that I can't tell if I die or the one I am shooting at does, all for a nice new awesome update that gave the game very little improvement ( hence when I said 1 step forward and 15 back..again someone who instead of reading something till they understood, jumps in with their witty attitude to try prove who can be the biggest jerk.... but hey oh well ) and hey your pink armour ( or what ever colour it really is) is so worth having that I am fine with mine and a few others main weapon not working the way it is supposed too. I guess in your opinion that would be asking to much from the dev's to keep the basic mechanics working.

Give the op a break. He feels frustrated because there are still, continuing bugs, broken quests and new things broken now for HIM with this patch as with other ones. The same issues he has brought up have been being discussed ad nauseum in lots of other threads. Just because he has less experience with MMO's doesn't equate to him having no common sense or ability to see flaws and wonder what is going on or be dissatisfied.

Samasulee -- what I hear you saying is the fun fluff being brought in via patches etc is nice but you'd rather the base game, the builds, the stam/magicka ratio etc be given a LOT more attention. As many know there are different individuals and teams who work on varying parts of an MMO, but it still stands to reason that priority be made in some fashion as to what is adjusted or 'fixed'.

I hope you can find fun things to do to stay around and give this MMO a little more time...many of us have a love/hate 'relationship' with it right now as well :\

TES games are notoriously buggy and they stop supporting them long before all the major bugs are gone, hence the unofficial patches or why my elven armored shadowmere in Oblivion couldn't turn even with the mod meant to fix it. (they are separate objects, I had to disable the elven armored one and enable the regular one to get back to a working shadowmere.)

Long after Skyrim had come out and I picked it up, It had so many bugs I had to either work around or console in fixes too. Quests that were impossible to complete, the greybeards sending me to walls I had already gained the words from.

Morrowind had characters that you absolutely could not kill or you would be forced to go through the unguided back door pathway to beat the game, but some of those characters did not announce you were screwed when you killed them (namely the ex-slave guard in the corpsarium.) I had to console in all kinds of stuff to keep from losing about 100 hours of gameplay from that.

those unofficial patches exist for a reason.

MMOs aren't static, they are a living, evolving game. This is not to some people's liking. I suggest trying some other single player games if these features are a problem for you.
Dear Sister, I do not spread rumors, I create them.

    Take care mate.

Please explain how this would even be remotely different from all the whining and crying that is going on now?

Sub fee doesn't seem to have any effect at all that I can see on whining and crying.... some people have that skill maxed out at birth.

Maybe you should actually read my post instead of coming up with a silly out of context troll comment... I paid 140 dollars for the physical Imperial edition of the game and believe that the plastic statue and nice looking book wasn't worth the complete 140 also in no way did I say anything bad about the 15 a month sub. so please please for the love of Talos please read things through until you understand what you are reading then comment thanks.

Maybe you should read your own post? You never mentioned $140, you only whinge about the sub. So unless you edited it after an initial writing but before I read it, you can't call me a troll for something that's not there.

However, since you bring it up.

$140 is also not top dollar. it's less than car insurance, a fancy night on the town, the cost of any number of electronic devices which won't give you as much enjoyment as the game, this is a list that goes on and on.

Obviously you thought that too OR YOU WOULDN'T HAVE PAID IT.

So please, please for the love of Talos, please think before posting and read your own things through to make sure you understand the message you are sending, then berate other people for not understanding your ravings thanks.
