ZOS did you break the mail system? (RESOLVED)

I used to be able to compose in Word and then use Cntrl+V to paste what I had written into an in-game mail. But today that no longer seems to work. As if it isn't bad enough that I cannot mass mail my guild in order to communicate guild news and information to them but now I have to actually type out EACH mail individually??? That is completely unacceptable. Please fix it.

And while you're at it, will you FINALLY make stacking automatic in guild banks as it is in personal banks? Thank you!

Mail issue resolved. It works... it just pretty much sucks.

Don't know how to do the second one but the Control paste still works on my end.

Yeah I can copy....but I can't seem to paste anymore. It's weird. Anyone else have this problem or is it unique to me?

Have you tried disabling your Addons and seeing if you can still paste? Most of them were broke by this last patch

The guild bank stacking was removed to stomp out a duping bug. Instead of making the database able to handle lots of concurrent requests correctly, they took the panic mode big hammer to the problem, broke some stuff in the process and let it remain broken. It can be a major hassle to re-stack the guild bank in a large guild with many contributors having only deposit permissions, but I don't expect it to be fixed soon, or ever.

I typed stuff in Word and then pasted it into the mail to test it and it worked on my end. Could just be yours. I have noticed things come through the mail faster so they may be messing with stuff and it could be only affecting a small range of players.

Hmmm.... seems I have to create VERY SMALL in game mails. I don't remember it being quite this restricted before. But yes, now I can do it but will have to send MULTIPLE mails to get the whole thing across. Workable I guess, but still vexing.

Yeah it realllly makes the guild banks unweildly and annoying. As if we don't have enough bank problems what with ZOS being so freaking stingy with space and INSANE in their price demands for a pathetic 10 extra slots in the first place!

Try setting up a guild site? sure the members don't have access to the info you put out in game but if they're dedicated members they check regularly or at least when you post note in game to do so. Just a thought.

Hearing about something like this for the first time baffles me. I know a lot about the bugs in game and can confirm I encountered the same bugs in beta. I dont follow through after beta and only started mid june to play it - am now vr12 and vr3 alt. I like the game. But man, stuff like this is what I think will break it for me, in let's say around christmas - if no serious attention is put to it. It's simply not worth the coin we're currently putting.

Really glad im not a guild officer who has to re-stack.. just lol
