Balance Suggestions-Jewelry, 2h, Staves, Bow, Breton

Jewelry... When will we get accessories that have the 1.5X multiplier for Health like every other bonus? (IE enchants, attribute points, set bonuses) The main problem with the way it is now is the fact that most amulets are +HP and everyone using one is missing out on a lil more HP they should have.

All two handed weapons(two handers, staves, and bows) should count as 2 parts of a set OR they should add an item like a "Wristguard" to balance set bonuses between Sword and Board and Dual wield to everything else.

My third and final topic, this one is more of a pesonal nature, the Breton Spell Resistance Passive is moderately useless, much like the Nord armor bonus was, I would suggest it changes to an absorb magicka skill like the Imperial Red Diamond or the Redguard Stamina one. In Skyrim Bretons had the Dragonskin power, giving them the ability to absorb 50% of spells as magicka. Obviously, the amounts would need to be fixed, but the same principle should apply in ESO. On the other hand, in Elder Scrolls: Morrowind and Oblivion, Bretons had a 50% damage shield Dragonskin, that was a 60% stronger Shield power than Woad for the Nords. Taking that into account, Bretons should have the 6% damage reduction passive and not the Nords. Bretons have honestly always been the magical tank of the Elder Scrolls. That can't be argued. 300 Spell Resist is a joke. If not an absorb magicka skill, at least give it a flat 6+% spell damage reduction similar to the new nord racial, OR in light of the lore bring Bretons upto par in damage reduction equal if not more than the Nords.

Please feel free to comment, love hearing from people to hear different views.

Edited: Third topic was edited based on responses due to containing past Breton viability in Skyrim and not all Elder Scrolls games. Third topic now covers Bretons in all previous TES games.

The Breton "absorb" thing would be cool, both as a TES throwback and as a genuine buff.
I play every class in every situation. I love them all.

Bretons never had Absorption they have had Magic Resistance. Dragon Skin was changed in Skyrim from a Shield spell to an Absorb Spell, but that could only be used once a day, so hardly a tactic changer. But the base Racial Ability has always been some amount of Magic Resistance.

They have it here too. I will say that the amount of Resistance is quite low, and I have yet to apply any of the Racial Passive Spell Resist to my current Bretons, but they are all at the cap for Spell Resistance due to other passives available to any race.

Bretons do need more Spell Resist.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I did have to do some research, after your post, as I was thinking that TES III and IV's Dragonskin worked like Skyrim's as I havent played either in YEARS, lol.

That being said, having looked at past games, Nords have only ever had a 30% Shield Power in previous games, where as Bretons DID have Dargonskin offering a 50% Shield OR as in Skyrim an absorb Magic power. So it would honestly make more sense and be more lore-friendly that Bretons have the 6% damage reduction rather than Nords and it be named Dragonskin. I will edit my initial post to reflect this.
