Non Vet Campaigns

ZOS, these are a great idea, more balanced fighting, smaller groups, lots of sneaking and VR5 GUARDS which make it almost impossible to take a keep.

Also, the "new and improved" weapon swap does not work properly. My Restro Staff can now fire arrows. Talk about one step forward and two steps back.

Enjoying the sub Vet campaign but the VR5 guards may need to be brought down to level 50 like it was originally

Do you guys have your "battle scaling" enabled in the options?

Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
    Disable abilities while holding block.
Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.
Werewolf is not equal to Vamps/Bats.

Do you understand how powerful and "intelligent" keep / resource guards are? They heal each other, respawn and run away if they are taking too much damage. They can be a handful for VR players so what chance do non-VR players have? BTW, battle scaling does not increase skills, just attributes. The issues are compounded when attempting to take a keep. Once the Postern wall is gone the hole becomes a choke point.

ZOS. Seriously. You cannot have intended for their to be NPC guards in a campaign designated specifically for nonveterans. I'm level 42 and was killed by a tower mage's ONE storm shot, and the lasting damage. It's absolutely ridiculous.

I personally would assume that all NPCs in the Non-Vet campaign should be Level 50, and ZOS just forgot to (or cannot?) set them as that for that campaign specifically. I assume battle-levelling still buffs stats to around the Level 50 mark as well?

Wow, that's really nuts to think sub VR players can take on those npc guards when it takes about 8 to 12 of us at vet levels to beat them at farms, mines, etc. Are the dungeon mobs at level 5vr also? If so, there's no point for you non vets to even waste time there.

Yes, all NPCs, even the ones in dungeons and cities, are vr5.

All the mobs are at VR5. It's still a lot of fun though. There is a lot of small group action and ganking. Plus the mix of new players and Vets who have rolled an alt makes it interesting.

@ZOS_GinaBruno, can we please get an official response as to whether the vet NPCs in the subvet campaign are an intended feature or not?

They didn't forget, they decided to take a wait and see approach. I brought this up in the beta when they were still teawking the guards. I mentioned again when they bumped them up to V5. I pointed it yet again in the announcement thread and that is what we were told.

They really believe their Upscaling balances things out. It's enough to let me kill VR players if I play it smart. But the NPCs were meant to challenge V12 players. Likely what they want to do is increase the upscale to compensate if it's needed.

It's needed. I don't mind if keep capture is slow, rather than being able to quickly cap while the pop is low, but it shouldn't be nearly impossible.

With the V5 NPC's a group of 20 failed for hours to take a hold last night. They need to be nurfed. No question about that. The non vet server would fill up fast if they did that.

the VR5 keep guards are completely ridiculous. you can take resources if you just zerg them, but keeps? NO. if you manage to break down the inner wall, all the enemy has to do is wait till your group charges these VR5 guards, then hit your group in the back. your group will be slaughtered. if ZOS wont nerf these guards in the non-vet campaign to 50, they may as well buff everyone in the non-vet campaign to VR12.(because even high level vet players have trouble with these guards) im about to lose interest in this campaign due to these guards. its a NON VETERAN CAMPAIGN. there should not be ANY veteran enemies. NONE

I actually like that NPCs are beefy and you have to put some effort in to take resources and keeps. VR5 is a little too much though. Several of the NPC types can easily one shot even a full tank in these campaigns.

They need to be adjusted - But please, ZOS, do not overnerf again.

Fail with veteran 5 guards made me mad. Really mad.
    Nothing can fix this now.

First campaign had level 50 NPCs which veteran players were killing like butter, then they raised them to vet5 to make them usable - correct move though it made it hell for non vets, but no sane non vet was playing PvP anyway.

Now they introduce non vet campaign and forget to scale down guards.

I really don't know what to think about ZOS team.
I am convinced that they are complete amateurs in gaming industry.

Was it really so hard so make one stupid task correctly? Just to adjust brackets and scale down NPC level?

I suppose it is pretty hard for proffessional team of developers working on pay to play product.

If you encounter pvp without NPCs it is insane portion of fun! Like it was supposed to be.
When you meet NPC guard be ready for PvE small Boss fight...

Veteran rank PVP is garbage compared to non veteran campaign experience.
    That was good improvement.
