Dyeing the barbaric armor

In general I love the look of the barbaric armor, I use it for my NB Tank and my Sorc Bow user. And I love the new system and I have used it on other armors and seen it other players run around and look really good.
However the Barbaric armor, there seems to be a basic color on the armor that's done more like in patchy patterns. So when you start to dye it a new color. The color just seems to fill in cracks around the basic coloring which makes it pretty bleh. Along with the off yellowish green of the fur can't be changed and looks ugly when by other colors you may change it to.
Overall I think the dye system looks good, and for most armors it works really well. I just wish there was a way to change the patchy coloring and the yellowish green fur on the barbaric armor. its my one small complaint, otherwise keep up the good work Zenimax!

✭yea I made a whole rage thread about this not realizing that it only was this way with barbaric.
Barbaric looks horrible dyed. It didn't help that my armor had turned fuchsia/pink after the patch.Dear Sister, I do not spread rumors, I create them.1 -

Hahaha, very true. Thank you for the correction. I actually thought about that word and went with "dying" as "dyeing" is not a word I see often and I thought it looked kinda weird.

the only dyeing i'll be doing with mine, is that which occurs from the dying of others. Barbaric needs a blood splatter coloration for it.
On a side note. How cool would that be, the more you kill in a short amount of time, the more spray on your gear. Has a short reset, but something kinda awesome. Game would probably get a MA rating than though...There is only one god and his name is Death. And there is only one thing we say to Death: “Not today...”

ThisOnePosts✭✭✭✭✭I like the Barbaric armor as well on two of my characters. However I have noticed the dyes do not work so well on it ---- none of them do. It's how it colors in, that needs some tweaking, but yeah overall I like the dye system but completely agree that the Barbaric style needs some "dye" attention from ZOS.0 -

✭MO gear gets blood splattered. It can get really dirty if you don't take a swim periodically. (not in deep water if you are wearing heavy armor tho.)
