Missing dyes for achievements / unlocked dyes without achievements

Okay, so I noticed today that I have a few dyes that I do not have, despite having the related achievements. Not only that, but I have quite a few dyes that are tied to achievements that I never completed at all. Anyone else having this?

✭✭✭✭✭There's a thread at the top of this forum about dyes being granted without the achievement.
I don't know about the reverse being true; I haven't seen any reports of dyes not being unlocked when the achievement shows as completed.----

ebondeath✭✭✭✭✭Yep. I have the Ruby Throne Red (for being Emperor) and Julianos White (for something in AA). ZOS is aware of it, but it doesn't hurt to send in moar tickets.
I will be sad to lose the white when they fix it.

You won't lose the stuff you've already dyed Ruby Throne Red or Julianos White, you'll get to keep that. Same goes for anything else you've dyed in a color you don't have the achievement for. One of the Devs posted about this and said they'll fix it in Monday's patch, "so dye away." I guess it would be too hard for them to retro undye stuff, so they'll let it go."We have found a cave, but I don't think there are warm fires and friendly faces inside."0 -

I did use it on my VR2 alt, but I'll have to change gear at some point so I will lose it.
I'm kind of gun-shy about using it after an incident at an old job where somebody up the foodchain made a typo and gave the lower level employees something we weren't supposed to get. We all used it and management got super pissed when they found out.
Darn my guilty conscience!
