We should burn in the sunlight when we go above stage 1, like we did in earlier games.

I also play a vampire and im quite glad there is no issue with the NPCs , which you cant control like the other TES games since here there is no console or saves to back you up.

*rolls eyes* Yes, let's apply a technique that works in a single-player TES game to an MMO version of TES because, God knows, both gaming models are similar enough that they can cross pollinate without any issues arising whatsoever.
If ZeniMax were to apply this, they would, at a minimum, have to increase the Stage 1 vampirism to no less than 4 hours. Anything less than that, and you're going to have players going through the roof because, instead of playing the game, they'll have to find NPCs to feed off of.
Or, another possibility, is ZeniMax could introduce "blood potions" into the game, much like Skyrim had. Combine that with, say, a 3-hour Stage 1 vampirism window, and the outcry would probably be more muted. Not to mention, the creation of blood potions could be a new market for in-game crafters (or alchemists) to take advantage of.
Lastly, if we're going to RP vampires to the hilt, then shouldn't our werewolf friends be one-hit-killed by anything with silver in it?

Realistically though, I like anything that gives me actual reason to worry about managing the stages. Right now I just run around at Stage 4 all the time because I have no reason not to. I don't bother to feed at all.
Stage 4 should burn in sunlight - imo. There needs to be a reason to feed, doesn't make sense that vampires want to be malnourished.

I agree, but make the stage timings longer, then if you want to log off, log off inside a building with convenient victims. (Obviously this would require a greater variety of available "cattle".)
