weapon switching glitching out now.

basicly sometimes you'll get it where your bar will swap but the weapon will remain the same causing the abilities that are weapon based to not work if the weapon you attempted to switch from isnt the same

Yup I've noticed this as well. It's almost every time for me if I switch in stealth. Also, equipping a different type weapon bugs out as well, ie: equipped two daggers, replacing my staff. Daggers were invisible and the old staff was lying on the ground at my feet, but would move with me including when I jumped. Weird.

I've had this happen several times. I'll be using my destruction staff to inflict damage, then attempt to switch to my restoration staff to heal myself a bit, but when I go heal myself, I find myself firing off a destruction spell at my feet.

I haven't tested this myself, but I saw someone in chat last night say the swap problem occurs if you equip a disguise or costume.

No. I had equipped DW/Rest Staff. Switched to DW/Bow, the Rest staff was still displayed, though my char would act like it had a bow ready.

Only way I got it to reset was to completely remove the 2nd weapon. Go back into game; Enter inventory to equip the bow, etc...

Character still didn't "swap" weapons ... but I had my bow even though I was holding daggers.

/bug 'd it last night when ran into it ...

This has happened to me as well.. crafted a new set of gear.. equipped it all 2 new weapons and a few other pieces.. went to cyrodil to try out my new goods.. first time I weapon swapped to my 2nd bar.. I had no weapon in hand or the new gear set pieces.. not sure if I had the bonuses... but couldnt use weapon abilitys from it.. so yeah I died .. cause I just half stripped weapon swapping.. totally through me off.. and at the wayshrine I still didnt have the new gear on.. But changing to my 2nd bar and un-equipping and re-equipping all my gear and weapons it went away.. also have had myself stuck in block mode.. till weapon swap fixes it.. just dont mount your horse while stuck in block mode.. it puts you standing in weird ways on your horse.. to much fun with animation glitches

Next time Ill fire off a few rounds with my new guns before going to war with em..

I had a weapon glitch when I dyed my armour.

After I got the colour I wanted, I swapped to see how it looked with my staff and my robe reverted back to its original colour, though other pieces were unaffected, and my hood was showing, despite being off by default.

I had to take a different colour scheme to fix the issue

I sure hope ZOS is taking notes here, because this is some seriously weird [censored] going on... I've experienced a lot of this, as well as 1/2 dozen of the other problems (bad switch, stuck in block, unable to attack...) and naturally they occur when you're busy slaughtering mobs and can't stop to /bug...
