When is this going to be fixed? Literally you don't get any of the benefits from the skill not the 10 percent spell crit nor the reduction from sneak attacks ( from what I've seen anyway's correct me if I'm wrong ). I'm not sure if ZOS is unaware about this or just don't care. But literally I've never seen this work. As a PvPer who plays a support class/healer. This ability could be essential for helping not just my group I'm running with but help save me from being ganked/shreded during combat by those sneaky attacks. Highly disappointed this has been ignored for so long for something that I would think be an easy fix but I'm not a programmer so what do I know.
How does everyone else feel about this ability being completely useless? I've asked other people in game and no one seemed really to care all to much so maybe that's why it has gone under the radar.

Can we also make the opposite morph player suffers increased damage from sneak attacks?

I've stopped using it altogether. its seems to have about a 2 meter detection range for me.

So it could just be a display glitch? like the thief stone back in the earlier days? What about the reduction from stealth attacks? Thats the most important reason for having it and from what I've seen it doesn't work but I haven't put any serious number crunching into it only from what I've seen from death recaps I've had so ridiculously high stealth attacks hitting me

I also get the crit buff, and as a ganker I get the increased distance in stealth detection too. I use it with my 'Way of the Air' armour and get excellent stealth detection.... I don't see the problem you are having with it.

I Ge the 20 percent from inner light too, its Radiant Light I don't receive benefits from.

With cheap respecing I can go and try it out and again but not sure I'm going to see anything different then I always have. It's odd that it works for some people and others it doesn't

I agree the stealth detect range is broken. I have stood in the middle of a gate entrance and watched someone dismount and sneak by me through the gate with magelight on... All I saw was my own eye open up halfway and close then I heard him on the other side fighting. magelight never popped him out of stealth even in the radius from the center of the gate opening to the walls.

I have also noticed circles near where someone had entered stealth. If you approach that circle your eye will begin to open up, though you can chart the whole circle nothing every pops out. The circle does move.

I think magelight is working passively rather than actively on a player. It seem to be like using a flash light at night. If you find a rock with your flash light and move the flash light away the rock will disappear from sight. So when magelight does work it reveals the player, you can attack the stealther, but so long as the stealther does not return fire he will disappear if he leaves the magelight. You can see this play out with knockback. If the stealther is knocked back and in the air such that he leaves the range of magelight he will disappear even though he is still flying through the air from the knockback. It doesn't pop a player out of stealth, instead it seems to allow a player to attack a person while they still remain in stealth.

Never had a problem with the stealth detection of mage light. To actually pop someone out of stealth you need to attack them. The example you gave is weird though. If they went by you, you I'd assume they would have been at least noticed. Maybe they pop an invisibility pot or were a NB and used their invisibility skill?

My problem is just with the morph Radiant magelight. Its extra ability is; Radiant Magelight: Nearby friendly targets take less damage from stealth attacks. It at level 1 is suppose to be 50 percent less stealth damage taken for you and nearby allies. However I can't see any noticeable difference. Also the 10 percent crit doesn't show up under the character screen.
