Attention all Guild Officers!

Since today's patch, all Guild Officers have lost their privileges and been demoted to Recruit. This means that we can't withdraw from Guild Banks, or clean up the stacks, or indeed administer our Guilds in any way.

If you have your Guildmaster's email address, I recommend emailing them so that they can log in a.s.a.p. and add your Officer status back!

There were a bunch of changes to the Guild system, including ranks. Probably dropped ranks to low so those that were not supposed to have access to the bank, did not accidentally get access to the Guild Bank to clean it out.

Be easier than trying to figure out how map old ranks to new ranks. And, cause less headaches in the long run.

What will happen for those guilds (2 of 5 for me) where the guildmaster no longer plays and the officers were keeping it going for everyone else in the guild?

I'm also in two guilds where the guildmaster left ESO long ago but the rest of us stay to trade things in the guild bank and use the store. If everyone is demoted to the lowest level, are these guilds effectively dead now? Or is it a case by case basis? I'm not home right now to check mine.

I understand I will most likely need to leave the guilds with inactive owners and find new ones (recommendations welcome). But did ZOS seriously not consider the possibility that guild owners may not be immediately available to reassign roles following this patch?

I am an Officer in a very active, constantly near max size Trading Guild. I can confirm that both myself and another Officer who was online this afternoon have been demoted and cannot do anything with our Guild ranks, privileges, etc. This is ruinous for a Guild like ours. Please fix this, even if you have to take the servers down to do it.

Oh yeah - funny thing here - our guild leader unsubbed and we have no one that can promote anyone, so nobody in our guild can use the bank anymore. One of the officers put in to have the guild leader position moved to him since he created the guild originally (to try and get the name when he first got on), but we are still waiting for that to play out. Initially we were just annoyed we couldn't do the tabards thing, but now, a lot of our stuff is trapped in the bank lol. (GreyWolves guild)

A quick glance at the forums pretty much shows that it's affecting just about everyone, everywhere, in almost every guild. It's not some isolated incident caused by some bug affecting a select few people.

Calm down, ZOS have tried something different to the AH and there has been an unfortunate bug with the new patch.
"LMFAO"ing isn't going to get you your AH, it's needless flame.

People need to have a little patience, how did any of you survive beta with such a lack of it

The Brotherhood of Redemption is having this issue. I, Karoneth the Guildmaster, am unable to promote most of my officers back, and two extra individuals that somehow got promoted to Deputy GM's accidentally (new rank I made and promoted them to) I cannot demote either. The trouble seems to be mostly with the individuals that I promoted or demoted due to adding in new ranks. I also have a member reporting that they cannot access our guild bank despite having the correct permissions, and I did not touch their access today.

I can't access guild stores in several trading guilds where I am just a member. I am in the bank in Reaper's March where I always bank. My stuff is selling at pre-patch prices, but I cannot access my listings to change prices, remove items, or replace the items that are selling. When I attempt to access the listings tab, it only says something stupid like "you are not a member of this guild." I am able to review permissions for these guilds and they appear to be correct, and I should have the ability to sell in the guild store. Please fix.

I am encountering difficulties similar to those mentioned by Karoneth (above). Specifically, following the patch, all members of my guild who were lower than officer rank were promoted up to officer rank, and I am no longer able to demote (in spite of still being flagged as guild leader).

Until demote functionality is restored, it looks like I'm going to have to shut down all permission for all members other than myself. An unfortunate situation.

An AH that didn't require guild membership or rank privileges likely wouldn't have broken either.

Just sayin'. Wheel wasn't broken, why'd they have to try and fix it.....

I am an Officer in Black Market Wares [BMW].

Our Guildmaster has not logged in (he works a day shift), so nobody has changed or added any ranks, although we did try.

I am the GM of a crafter sub guild of our main guild. None of the members in our guild can put stuff in or out of the bank even though I have set them to be able to. Only me as a GM can do it atm.

This is another example of why the PTS is a joke. As long as you can't copy over things from the real server to the test server then you can never really test patches.
