Adventure chests why so hard to open?

Surliman✭✭They make it easier? Seems easy to me. I opened dozens of chests without breaking a lockpick. Did break one opening an 'advanced' chest, but I still go it open. All as a new character still in the 1-5 zone.0 -
MarkSteel✭✭they movement of the slides are really sluggish and almost impossible to get lined up when stop on time when you get in position. Its hard to explain if you haven't tried to open one1 -
I don't really mind if they are difficult to open, i would just like to see more of them when i'm wandering around the wilderness. I have probably only seen 15 and i'm level 450 -
Surliman✭✭Guess it depends on what dominion you start in. On release I started with two characters in two dominions and there were very few chests. This time I am in the third dominion and there are chests everywhere! Makes sense, though, as a hurricane wrecked a lot of ships on the beach, so there are chests all over the place.0

I play 3 main characters and each one of them got their 1000 chests looted achievement before they hit level 30 ...1 -
Surliman✭✭Oh, as for it being sluggish. Not that I have noticed. Like I said, I've opened dozens of them. Simple locks, yes, but there was that one 'Advanced' which I thought would be impossible. Tried it anyway, and succeeded. But, as is the norm, nothing in it I could/want to wear

Not really understanding what you mean by "lined up". The pins rarely ever line up.

If you do like me and slide down cliffs, you will find all kinds of chests. I land on them all the time tucked into rocks and ledges. They are hidden quite well. There is even a ruin that has two of them within 15 feet of the door, but you would never see them unless you explored every nook and cranny of the exterior.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
