How do these apply to spells and light/heavy attacks?
Does Spell Crit effect only Magicka cost spells no matter what type they are?
Does Weapon Crit effect only Stamina cost abbilities and light/heavy attacks no matter what type of weapon you are using?

✭✭✭Weapon crit -affects all stamina skills and attacks.
Weapon crit -affects melee based class skills. For NB that would be Veiled strike , Teleport strike,Assassins blade.Each class has a few skills that use weapon crit.You should figure them out yourself for your class,usually if it looks like a weapon attack it is weapon crit.
Spell Crit- All ranged class skill and healing skills use spell crit.
The damage of all class skills is given by Spell Power with no exception and Weapon Damage isn't used at all for any class skills. Thechemicals✭✭✭✭✭Yeah it can be weird but generally magicka based= spell and stamin based=weapon *BUT some skills use one or both. For example- aedric spear skill Punc strikes used to be spell crit but now is both spell/wpn crit- which ever is higher.Vr14 Templar since release- dual resto

✭✭✭Weapon Crit impacts light and heavy attacks with the stamina based weapons, as well as Stamina based attacks.
It also modifies the crits for Class skills with a physical hit, such as Nightblade's Assassination skills and Veiled Strike.
Spell Crit impacts light and heavy attacks with Staves, as well as their Magicka based skills. The base damage of light and heavy attacks with Staves is modified by Stamina though; I'm not clear why.
It also modifies the crits for Class skills that do not generate a direct physical hit, such as Nightblade's Strife or Drain Power.

I noticed that if skill range lesser than 8m - it's melee and use weapon crit.
