ETA & Accurate Patch Notes This Time Please !

Devs/Admin (whoever is responsible) can we please get accurate patch notes first time round this time. And not as you have done the last couple of times having to remove/edit/repost them due to numerous errors !

Also, an ETA on those patch notes would be very much appreciated !

    FYI - There is no such thing as 'night capping' in a world wide MMO.
    FYI - There was no paid Beta. When they launched the game the Beta was over, even if you don't think it was.
    FYI - It's B2P not F2P. There is a difference.
    FYI - It doesn't take any player skill to mash keys or buttons in this game. The ones that stay alive longer have the better internet connection and speed.
    FYI - The game is not broken, it still works. It just has 'bugs' that need to be fixed.
    Balance is a "Bad" thing.

    Example: There were hundreds of Jedi and only two Sith in Star Wars. The Jedi wanted, "Balance in the Force" and they got it. Now there are only two Jedi and two Sith.

    Id rather they just finish their work instead of post inaccurate times for our benefit.

    Let them do their work and go to facebook or what ever to kill some time.

    NO!

    Every game has its quirks and this is one of ours. Lets just laugh about it and enjoy the game when it comes back on.

    Not accurate, the PTS notes are for 1.3.2 and the update is 1.3.3. Not that there will be massive differences, but a few at least I'd have thought.

    (That does also bring up the question as to the point of the PTS if it's not actually testing the build that will be going live?)

    We know you are, just need accuracy. How many times have we gotten patch notes, then like three addendums to those patch notes after the fact. :open_mouth:

    Nevertheless, there should be an ETA, and it should be available.

    In a properly run IT shop, work is planned and documented on tickets, and in the work ticket is a window of time. Exceeding that time results in an service "emergency" where heads will get bang and determine whether or not to continue with the change or back out or take some other action.

    In effect, there is always an ETA, and it must be known at least internally. I see no valid reason not to share that outside. It's not a state secret.

    I would at least like to have a time window given. Like that it will be down for x to x hours. That way I would know if I am going to be playing before noon or not...

    Here's a link you can put in your browser and search to discover why ESO does not give an ETA...you're welcome to look at the entire thing...

    Yeah, sure, it's Rift, but it provides a really accurate reason as to why ZeniMax will not put an ETA up...that is, if they saw this.

    Square Enix always gives an ETA on when their maintenance will be finished so why not Zenimax?
