Well this is the first guild I've actually decided I'd like to join, and I've been playing since 5-day early access

I don't think it's quite the guild limit that makes people not want to join. Maybe more just go to the other guild because it's bigger or something. Maybe because we don't really have any events or anything. *cough* despite me trying to pull people together for them *cough*

See that's another issue, we can't even all PVP together because it isn't an alliance specific guild! I love that it isn't restricted to a specific alliance, don't get me wrong, but it would be cool if they introduce some sort of PVP that lets you play with your guild regardless of alliance. Maybe we should set something up for Craglorn, surely we could find 12 people in the guild with the appropriate level/interest in that.

What level is Craglorn? Veteran? I'm sure they'll also add similar areas in the future. We can all just work towards leveling up our characters with plans of eventually playing in teams formed from the guild ranks for the adventure zones.

Yep, I'm pretty sure it's for VR characters only.
I noticed today that for a guild full of all-females, guild chat is super quiet

Haha sometimes people start a discussion but when you're out adventuring and fighting it's hard to stop and type. That's why a vent channel might be a good idea so we can chat without having to stop playing to type.

I'm interested in using voice chat! As @tangodoodles said, it can be hard to participate in text chat when things keep trying to kill you.

Okay so I've been doing some research on chat programs, Vent is the most commonly used one followed by Teamspeak. However, a lot of people have recommended Mumble for the audio quality and lack of lag. I looked at it a bit but I'm afraid some of the technical stuff went over my head. I figured @Aluluei and @Mataata could set up a channel/server for the guild, especially if you guys actually understand the technical stuff required to set it up. Then again we could just go with Vent because it's so commonly used and some people in the guild already have it? But yeah, I vote for a chat channel.

I prefer Mumble myself since I already know how to use it.
.. however, the Mumble server doesn't come with the free Enjin plan. If you want it, you gotta pay for it. :x

I haven't been able to get on very much the last few weeks, damn RL getting in the way. I'm loving the voice chat idea and the idea of getting groups together.

Mumble sounds good, especially if you know how to use it and can set it up for us. I didn't completely understand the server situation but I saw that there are some servers that can host the channel for like 15 cents per person. So we could pitch in and get like 10-12 to start or however many are requested by active members. I'm sure we can fund it if those who are able all pitch in.

I'm willing to bankroll a Mumble server. I'll start with a 15-person membership, but can upgrade it later if needed.

What should the name be? sisterhoodofflame.mumble.com? sisterhood_of_flame.mumble.com? sof.mumble.com? Let me know what you prefer, then I'll let @Mataata make the final decision.

Would be better if it matched the Enjin site (sisterhoodofflame), but it really just depends what everyone else wants.

Also, I really hate to say it, but at best I'll only ever be able to listen. Not only does my mic sound like I'm inside of a very large cave, but my dad will be staying home for a long while and I don't really want him listening in on everything I say (the acoustics in our house are not that great). I'm really sorry!

I guess I had better download the client and figure out how to use this thing.

Mumble's pretty simplistic. It's the main reason I recommend it.

Hey, I'm back in the US after spending a month visiting family in Australia! What with only having my laptop with me (which gets 10fps in ESO on a good day) and my parents' rural internet connection with a 4GB monthly limit (which my two sons used up in the first week, after which the connection was throttled to 72kpbs) I've been suffering from acute ESO-withdrawal.

But now I'm back with a fast connection and a fast desktop! ... and the server is down for maintenance and a rumored multi-gigabyte update... I guess I'll just have to get all the unpacking done.

So, did you all miss me?

Umm, did any of you notice I was gone? $:\$
