I like it the way it is. Makes some colors have a level of prestige to them. Everything in this game is so incredibly easy FOR ME anyway.

Well, if they would have made the system based on points then those new in the game or less online / more focused on a specific task would be left out.

Whenever I pull/engage more than three mobs, I die. I've got to be VERY careful of where I dodge roll to or watch where I'm going as I'm kiting.

The idea itself sounds good. Personally? I've said it many times and it bears repeating:
I'll happily pay $1.99 per dye. ON TOP OF my current sub.
