Challenging Endgame Solo-Player Content
v10-v12 really needs more Solo-Player content, rather than "More" i should just say Some, as there really isent any at the moment.
I realize this is a "MMO" but seriously, you are alienating anyone who cant find a group to play with.

The majority of MMO players would rather log off and stop playing than get a group for an entire zone worth of group content.
For example, blizzard removed Group boss quests for a reason, they where the most skipped quests in the game, and just think, that was during its prime when it had ~12 million subs.

But really, between the levels v10 and v12 I would like to see Single-Player delves, preferably large with some sort of plot/story, multiple quests and some extremely challenging bosses meant to challenge players, you should not allow players to group/get assistance on those bosses, and killing them should have good rewards.

Green Quality Items - Are not good rewards.
Blue Quality Items, can be good but are not generally at this level.
Purple items are very good, if something is truly challenging and takes alot of effort to accomplish, it should reward something of this quality.
Waiting, and watching, for the return of Melee Weapons.

    for the reward i agree.

But you can solo like 60 % of claglorn and it's hard, only because it says its group doesn't mean that you can't solo it.

I did most of the 4 man dungeon like this

Yes, you can't always find/don't always feel like a group, but that doesn't mean you want to play a different game, and I don't think that's what Zen wants us to do either...

I'd also like to see some content designed for two people. I can't be the only one who plays with one other person the most, right? Content that scales to the number of people would be a good option, too.

OP, there is a new solo zone called "Wrothgar" that is in the plans. However, I wouldn't expect it to be here anytime soon.
But you can solo like 60 % of claglorn and it's hard, only because it says its group doesn't mean that you can't solo it.

The non-trials part of Craglorn isn't true endgame because there are no v12 drops from the surface and dungeon mobs.

At the moment, there is no true solo endgame.

To me, a true solo endgame is something where you can solo-farm unique items (preferably bound-on-pickup items) that cannot be obtained in a different zone.

Veteran content used to be a challenge for majority of the players.

... and they cried till the challenge got neutered.

Same destiny would happen to personal trials. Average "terrible Joe" with stat points totally put at random, mismatched gear 2 medium pieces 2 light and rest plate would find the trials "unfair and impossible to do => TO THE FORUMS!

Next patch, personal trials become like level 10 questing whilst still giving purple+ rewards.

I'd personally love to see personal trials, but ESO playerbase does not have the attributes to do them.

VR content doesn't fit the OP's requirements, VR10 isn't level cap.

We all know that challenging content is not desired by our community, remember the VR nerf and the single player missions of the guilds?

If you give people again challenging content then we will have once again thousands of posts in this forum stating that they are not seeing the content they paid for as its too hard...

We had 12 wonderful additions for max level players, the VR system was great as an replacement for raids and dungeons - yet it was removed due the crying.

I am afraid that anything with the term "challenge" wont work with this community here.

Solution is not to create more solo content, it's to fix grouping system which sucks. You only have one option for grouping in Craglorn: Craglorn.

I personally haven't used the grouping tool since I hit VR content since I never managed to find anyone to group with through there.

There are a lot of things that can be done to drastically improve grouping & make grouping easy. This is what we should ask for, not more solo content in a multiplayer game.

There was challenging solo content named veteran content. But for the majority it was too challenging and they nerfed it. ;)

i had a bad time doing the vr content before but it helped me to use cc and change my stile of play.
The nerf was to bad, should just made they low vr easy and made the higher one a bit harder.
Still this is not endgame as someone pointed out, even my claglorn idea isn't.
But that was a 100 and more hour of hard slow progression so still a nice way to get to endgame

Im not saying the content has to be extremely difficult, im saying it needs more endgame content in general.

And mmos seem to go away from the idea of difficult single player bosses.
When they are really fun and don't require the hours it takes to put groups together.

This is an MMO. Multiplayer Online.

    Not a solo game.

If you come to any MMO of a popular solo game franchise expecting to have a solo game within the MMO, you'll be disappointed. Just look @ SWTOR's Fiasco...

SWTOR's single player class storylines where one of the best RP experiences i have ever had in my life, infact other than kotor, sith inquisitors storyline is unbeatable by any game.

    Its a MMO, So?
TES is and has always been a single player game with NO multiplayer whatsoever.
Is it too much to expect that there should be some single player content?

Take a look at the other big mmos out there, multiplayer-only content that blocks or severly reduces progression is bad for the game. Other mmos, the biggest mmo in history, actually removed the majority of its group content after its second expansion.
