Future new areas, connect faction lands or not.

Eventually they will open more areas to us players. When that happens, do you wish they open areas between factions and connect factional areas together for some (Optional) open world PVP. A chance to explore other factions lands and do PVP there. Would you also like them add opposing faction quests to enemy areas where we see other factions NPC's on quests trying to make war or conquer land and whatever theyt are doing right now when you encounter enemy NPC's.

Hopefully the will add more places to do low level stuff as well so we can do different quests when doing new characters but this is not about that.

    Dont get me wrong , i dont have anything against connecting the areas , i have against open world PvP , which should be limited to cyrodiil for all i care.

    And no , the justice system is not open world PvP , atleast from what we know yet.

    Since this pool has no option for people like me who are against the PvP part , i will be against it all.

    Sorry, should have added the option with no PVP but i guess i just thought that optional PVP flag is enough or i was not clear enough.

    They just need to get rid of the lame last minute idea of an alternate reality. Also add scaling down when you go through you own faction, and add dailies too. I just hate that I picked AD and I'm spending all my time in either Craglorn or other factions zones playing not as AD but DC or EP, It really loses me.

    Connect Factions? For PvP? No. Connect zones within factions? Yes. What I mean by that is I would prefer an open world within factions and basically do away with zones. Do away with the current rails system. A level 10 could find what he needs in say Auridon as well as Reapers March. As could a level 20 or 30 player.

    I could have added non PVP option but it is unrealistic to exept total denial of PVP from everyone in enemy faction areas. Im not big fan of PVP in general either, but if connections are made, they should have option to PVP at least. Not forced but optional flahhing for PVP as that makes sense in many ways.

    None of these options fit my answer.
    They should connect them, only it should throw you into the same zone you quested in v1-v5 and v5-v10.

    Having new "Zones" based on the same exact zones would be nothing but extremely confusing and potentially interrupt other(faction) players from questing in those zones.

    If you want to connect any zone it should be Coldhaurbor and Craglorn, and make pvp entirely optional, only get attacked when you attack, and then stay flagged and all that. In essence a PvE server style thing.

    It would only make sense to add the enemy variants of the zones if they removed the veteran zones all together and completely remade the end half of the game.

    Yeah let the alliances mash together and do the normal MMO thing and have a pvp flag so those who don't want to pvp at all don't ever have to.

    If not for the veteran zones I'd say "connect zones - pvp/exploration", but having both the normal level enemy zones and the veteran version would just be weird.
    PvP, as long as people get to choose whether to participate, doesn't bother me, but there is plenty of opportunity for it already with Cyrodiil and the justice system.

    Some people seem to have trouble iunderstanding the meaning of connections..

    Let me clarify a bit. Connecting zones means that future expansions ADD AREAS BETWEEN EXISTING ZONES, therefore granting ACCESS TO FREELY ROAM FROM Tamriel with HORSE or FOOT (Or wayshrine).

    This has NOTHING TO DO WITH LEVELS or VR zonesVS NON-VR zones.

    In option 2 and 3 THERE IS NO FORCED PVP, PVP IS ACCESSED WITH FLAGGING YOURSELF FOR PVP therefore being OPTIONAL.

    In simplest form, this is like adding an area like Pandaria or Northrend in WOW.. Or Gilneas. Or adding new planets to SWTOR.. Or adding more land towards mordor in LOTRO etc.

    I hope using capitals clears things, it is not my meaning to shout or aggro people. Hopefully this clear it a bit :)

    Goes back to the thread on forced PVP. Not a good idea at all. If you are running out of reasons to PVP, stop playing a few days. You are burned out.

    Why just have it in this poll for just PvP ...there is a ton of people that are not interested in PvP!

    Cant you read? There is only ONE OPTION FOR FORCED PVP. Fully deny PVP even as option is something too many would oppose with force and therefore it is not an option.

    I hate so say this but.. If i dont like PVP i dont flag myself for PVP. Problem solved. This works in many other games including WOW PVE servers where you still can flag yourself for PVP if you wish to participate in it. Nothing is forced but the option to do it still exists like it should.

    I admit the description text is badly made and makes it sound as if it is all for PVP purposes which is not true. There is the word optional there too.

    I would have corrected or edited it to be more clear but i cannot edit since it does not let me save it, says Category is missing but i cannot define category for edit's.
