There is another thread on this. One issue may be if you do not have a static IP. You may want to check this first to determine if this is the issue or something else.

For example: Time Warner Cable uses dynamic isp and they are a rather large cable/internet provider.

@Azalin76‌ While it is true most cable modems are technically static, if you've had a power outage in your area or reset your modem it is possible for the IP to change. More so for the former than the latter; resetting won't normally change it except in the rarest cases.

That said, I do not think it is wholly based on IP. If I change my PC's name for example it asks me to re-verify. (I change my laptops name frequently, not so much my desktop) I also recently changed out my RAM and it asked me to re-verify... So, that leads me to believe that multiple factors are checked and verified when the game starts.

I actually have gotten this error since I first began playing. I always have to check my email and type in the code to play the game.
