*The Festival*
Hey guys, so we are planning to hold a player-run festival to celebrate the AMAZING developers of ESO. The festival will consist of Events, Competitions, an Auction, and more. Everyone who has a character in the Aldmeri Dominion will be invited to come to this festival to socialize, sell/buy goods, and participate in competitions that will have great prizes. I am planning this festival to happen a week or so after Update 3 goes live. Currently talking with other guilds within AD to make this thing organized and awesome. Also as you can imagine this party will require lots of work so if anyone is interested in helping please PM or mail @Elridge or @Showlorian, any little bit helps.

*Guilds*
So far the guilds on board for helping the festival are The Order of the Eagle, Blue Skooma, Akear. Old Timers Guild, with The Noore, helping with promotions. We are looking to get more guilds and overall players involved to help us and join in on the festival. Events currently being discussed include, an auction run by Blue Skooma, a lore story time, and trivia.

    My main is EP. Conveniently though I've been leveling an AD alt for a cross faction RP event this weekend, that I can now use for this event as well. :blush:

    no not yet, Im staring at my screen waiting for my friends to come online so we can decide! Hopefully I'll have a date set by tonight or tomorrow morning. I will keep everyone informed on this thread. Make sure to bookmark it! ;)

    This one is Khajiit and despises Thalmor, calling all Dominion "Thalmor" is like calling all Nords drunks and racist, or all Dunmer filthy slavers, or even all Argonians, Sithis worshiping murderers :)

    This one is also Khajiit but not working with those sneaksy Thalmor types. Besides, I think most of your listed stereotypes are pretty accurate. :D

    Just an update on the festival, we have been traveling through Craglorn and have gathered up some nice set piece prizes, also if anyone wants to be a model, and show off your armor during the fashion show, please contact @Elridge in game

    New Event: After the festival is dying down, we will end with a naked run through Cyrodiil (Hopefully not through Ebonheart territory, I hear its cold there)

    New event: Contest to see who can come up with the funniest sentance, using at least 2 items linked in chat.

    New event: One person will jump off a cliff and act as a marker, whoever jumps off the cliff and lands closest to them wins

    I truly wish I could, but since I pre-ordered the game at launch and don't "own" the game through steam, I can't post on the forums there. They have the settings so that only people that own the game through steam can post there. You need a steam key at the very least to do that, and ZoS already stated that one will not be given out to previous owners of the game :(. If someone could make a post there for me and link them here, that would be highly appreciated!

    no, the level 1 area in AD is Auridon, however due to quests, that area has many phased instances, so we chose Marbruk Greenshade, that does not conflict with phasing. However we will have people you may group with and teleport to during the festival

    Well...I just learned about this festival just now. Turns out my guild is hosting a similar Event this Sunday. I honestly had no idea XD. I just posted the announcement for our event and saw this thread.

    Regardless, I hope everyone has fun this weekend! You are all invited to our event as well. Seems like it is a good weekend to be part of ESO.

    You guys should do this regularly. The GMs never seem to do events or rp stuff, so it's awesome that some players are taking the initiative.

    we do plan on having more of these festivals and already have more guilds on board for the next one! The team has been growing since we started hahaha.
