Anyone have any advice?

So I am VR12 and have done very little PvP, I am only rank 5 and it seems like it takes WAY too long to level in PvP. I can barely gain 1 level a day. I really want the skill points from those levels but it is taking forever. Anyone have any tips or advice for leveling any faster? Because I feel as though I am doing something wrong.

3 words. Impulse, immovable and a group.

Find a group with TS knows how to stack. Then equip a destro staff, put impulse and immovable in each slot of your skill bar. Follow the raid leader addon icon.
    Ready to go!

Get in with a good group that has voice chat (mumble, teamspeak, etc...) The rest takes care of itself.

PvP is really fun once you get the taste of victory.

you could go into one of the impulse spamming groups/zergs.... that MAY get you a lot of point... but either way. it will take awhile. IF you only play PvP for the skill points, you are going to hate it. im just curious, what do you need the points for?

There was a suggestion that to get into the PvE areas of the new Imperial City area, you might need to be a certain rank in PvP, (tyro I think).

PvP ranks basically scale up exponentially. That's by design as it is the endgame, they are meant to take a long long time to get up to high ranks. I've been in cyrodiil nearly daily for months and I'm only at rank 17, and iirc the highest ranked PvP'rs are only in the 30's?

Yeah, I agree with the other posters too, OP.

If you have the discipline to just grind PvP out for the skill points, then give it your best go and do it. I'm not one that is on teamspeak yet, but you can often find teamspeak groups and guilds picking up extra players for a group.

The suggestion above about the new content in the Imperial City might make things a bit more interesting ... but I'm not sure yet how many skill points might be available.

Out there in Cyrodiil, if you need someone to be your healer or meatshield ... let me know and I'll guest into the server.

pvp ranks are slow..especially around the sergeant phase..keep at it. Do daily kills ..repair walls try to be at every keep siege (when they're actually taking the naves and apses)..Buy FCs.. use them...use fire ballistas..if you have a resto staff heal everyone and their gramma allll the time. Get in on kills..tag the enemy without being in a large group..you get more ap if they die.(ungrouped)
