Spellcrafting and its impact on class abilities and Passives

i wonder if many class abilities will be equal or worse than spells you can simply make. if this is the case a class will really only be worth the weight of their passives. sorc passives seem to have alot of "general" passives that dont directly relate to the class skills (eg 15% ult reduction, magicka cost reductions etc). i havent had a look at them all and im sure all classes have a few good general ones (battle roar from dk) but bit worried it might go backto elder sorcs online.
what are some passives u think will be really good with spellmaking spells and do you think one class will pull ahead of the others?

I just wanna get a golden over time stamina restore ability to run on my DW nb and use it to spam hidden daggers and steel whirlwind 'cause viable aoe weapon damage based build pls0 -

Go "back to" elder sorcs online? When did it ever stop being that? The fact that there continues to be a huge discrepancy between armor types and there is no corresponding system for stamina builds to match the spellcrafting system even though it's already far behind is an indication that light armor casters will remain the standard.
Hopefully, there are some changes under wraps to address that issue but as of yet who knows what will happen between now and the spellcrafting system release.0
