My immersion in RPGs is given by how I create and perceive my characters not how I see the world. My character is the main focus and I can focus on it much better in third person. The fact that I grew up on Infinity Engine and similar top down isometric pc rpgs may also be a reason of why first person RPGs feel so wrong to me.TheSojourner wrote: »How would looking through your characters eyes mess up immersion? How does hovering over your character's back make you immersed? This game feels hooooooorible in third person.Always third person in every RPG. I hate first person rpgs and avoid them like the plague. If there is something that messes up immersion in a RPG it is first person. I played TES in third person since Morrowind even if the Bethesda guys were very determined of doing a *** poor job of it even in Skyrim. Thank Sheo for third person mods. And thank ZOS for actually doing the third person properly in this one.

First person always. I can tell you how to do that BTW.
