I just think it's still cheating if you get some friends to just stand there and let themselves be killed by you so you can climb in the leaderboards. You should be earning those kills through actual play.

Was told by multiple AD that played with me on the server that they saw Suru killing 5-6 level 10-12 characters for over 4 hours. We shall see if the ban hammer comes down.

I observed a form of this occurring between two players once on Vol. I had no idea what to make of it at first until I put two and two together. Basically players of opposing factions sieged up respective opposing nodes, in this case a castle and a tower at a enemy controlled node. They dealt damage to each node then killed each other than began repairing their respective faction-owned nodes. I only saw this occur once before and I reported it quickly as collusion, because that what it is plain and simple. It is something strictly forbidden in other games with PVP combat and a punishable offense. if ESO is to be taken seriously, the same must apply. Saying behaviors like this should persist or be allowed is like saying it's okay to steal because it isn't listed as a crime. But it is, and that is what players who perform and condone this sort of behavior are doing: they are stealing the meaningful experience that should be a integral part of PVP.

It would be far easier of such exploits were directly punishable by temp bans, and have a far more effective short term gain than waiting weeks on end for shaky patchs to be implemented.

Emperor flipping hands often is not the same as Emperor trading. Getting Emperor on a low population server is easy, yes, but that doesn't mean the opposing faction is letting you take it.

Late night inner ring takeovers are prominent on even the most populated servers like Dawnbreaker.

I would have enjoyed the challenge of keeping up with Suru on the leaderboard had I not found him trading AP with AD. Just sad really...

Apparently this happens even on the populated campaigns.
If you want to stop it, take the points yourself (tag hostiles) if it's one of yours being boosted or kill the guy being boosted if it's an enemy.

There will always be this kind of gameplay in any MMO where it's easier for a group to achieve something via cooperation rather than fighting, it's human nature.

I feel sorry mate

The guy had his low level buddies to attack the resource, he "single handed" defended it getting minimum around 5000 points per try.

Under normal eg siege, you need to kill 50-60 to do that in 20 man group and takes time some times.

Zerging, you even get less.

That is down to mechanics unfortunately.

When I was forced to defend with 2 more people a keep the other day, and we just coordinated our catapults to same target (usually 1 attack kill), I was amazed that when they broke the siege, I had already gathered 21,000 points in just one hour, by actually doing nothing. Under normal circumstances, it could have taken me at least 8 hours of group fighting. (I am Templar so i cannot amass points as fast as a DK or SC).

And I find totally LAME to trying cheat in a game. And shows how sad real low life existence some people have.

Emperor trading on the DC side is VERY much the case here on Celarus

it was clear when one of your DC leaders invited me to have a TS conversation with him about a week ago telling me how concerned he was that the inner ring wasn't flipping fast enough since it didn't look like they would meet their goal of crowning 7 more of their friends in addition to the ones they already crowned - we (The Noore) were politely asked if we could help expedite this process - we just as politely declined this gracious offer

it was clear with each DC emperor abdication and at most token defence of the inner ring

it was clear that there wasn't any real interest in PvP by the fact most of DC wouldn't even start showing up until after midnight - and most of them are an east coast guild

it was even clearer when your turn in the rotation came up and you got upset that somebody temporarily overtook your AP - had it not been for all the emperor farming abdications before you you wouldn't have even been a contender - you'd have still been #6-10 on the list (lost count of how many you crowned this go around)

that said i do not know if you were a part of that group and arrangement or not - you hadn't been on celarus before this reset and the new crop of emperor farmers came in

I've both lost to and killed @Brizz‌ but I don't even really PvP anymore because its such a joke between exploits/gaming the system via friends/etc.

Cyrodil will likely die a horrible death once arenas come out. Why would I want to deal with unbalanced odds/stupid mechanics when I can at least get a relatively fair fight 4v4 in way less time with way less hassle?

Easy solution to this is to add what campaign the player was emperor of in his title.

For instance:

<Former Emperor of Celarus>

Then you would automatically know, "Oh this guy just went to a dead campaign to get emperor".

or <Former Emperor of Volderuung>

Then you would automatically know, "This guy emp traded to get his title".

or <Former Emperor of Wabbajack>

Then you would automatically know, "Oh f*** this guy has got to be a DK, I better run".

I would love this.

"An EP Former Emperor of Bloodthorn? Crap."

There'd be about 10 people with that title, some of which no longer play. Now that's exclusive and nifty.

Hey Brizz was it not you who called in some EP buddies the other day to help you take Bleaker's Outpost? Also you joined them when they seiged Chalman and strangely enough... they never attacked you even though you were seiging about 2 feet away from them... hhhmmmm. lol.

I saw Bleaker's Outpost under attack and figured I should go defend it when I saw 10 or so EP... at first I was excited because EP was dead in the campaign but as I went through the front door I saw you claiming flags and you killed me cause I was dumb and had the wrong bar on... lol. Weird though that they didn't claim Bleakers and the EP just sat outside and ganked us while you claimed it... hm... maybe amazingly awesome super timing by you? But... how did 10 EP not just destroy you when you were seiging right next to them at Chalman? Yeah... okay. lol.

And to the Celarus Emp Farming thing... D is completely correct. Celarus was always an emp farming campaign which is why the guild I'm in came to that campaign as well... in order to stop it and try and restore PvP to what it should be. EP eventually left cause they wanted to farm emp it seemed and not have real true battles and you could say the same for DC for a while as well. Emp farming is destroying PvP and has pretty much tainted the Former Emperor title and passives...

If your guild is trying to "Restore PVP" to what it should be, then why did you AP trade to get there? Hypocrisy ABOUND.

I nor my guild members AP traded, maybe some other AD did that are not in my guild (Royal Aldmeri Guard) but not mine. We are against exploits and do not take kindly to guild members who might use it or have used them and it usually ends with them being kicked lol.

Sounds like you and your guild are quality players, and we all appreciate that. PM me in-game if you would like to know who said player is and whether or not he is in your guild. Like we said before, we have proof of him AP trading and can supply it if needed.
