Are Stamina Builds' and Werewolves' Improvements Included in Update 3?

I am unsure where I read or heard the notion that stamina builds and werewolves would be adjusted in update 3. I tried searching for it, but I only found mentions of those improvements from the Quakecon notes. Can anyone or ZOS confirm/deny that the next update will improve stamina builds and werewolves? Thank you!

We know there should be indirect improvements to WW via Stamina and Stamina soft cap increases and maybe a few other +'s. This should make all stamina attacks more effective including WW attacks. Probably not good enough to fix everything though. You will have to wait for live to see exact numbers.

There was information posted in the forums awhile back that there were soft cap increases on the PTS. Maybe that wont be included in this patch ><

That is included as well. Helps a little in balancing out the stam vs magicka builds

Pretty minimal increase, and they are upping the magic equivalents as much as stamina. Also, they backpedaled on removing spell crit from gear sets and you can actually get MORE spell crit now than before...

So yeah. Monday's patch does very little to help under-performing stamina builds.

Still looking forward to the patch.

Werewolves are way more powerful in a group, don't forget that.

I think people's inclination to cling to trinity is hampering their ability to exploit this game's niche mechanics. Additionally, lots of people are not trying things they hear are bad.

Really, under-performing is accurate. They're totally viable, and even useful; or fun. Setting trial records? No.

I agree, I hate when people think in black and white only.

If you've read some of the ww threads out there, surely you've noticed that there are quite a few people who have tried to run the ww pack scenario. The problem they all had is that it takes so long to build the ultimate and find a spot where they can run safely with wws being extremely vulnerable with no cc breaks or sustain skills, and stay in ww form long enough, that it's just not even remotely fun enough to be worth the effort. I have three ww characters (one who stopped at rank 6 and one who's rank 10 while the last I rarely play on), but at this point ww is almost purely rp because of how useless wws really are in pve or pvp.

My Templar Argonian Werewolf can to extended ritual so often it's disturbing, mostly because of also being a Werewolf. So at the very least, it has definite utility.

I will say, I'd like to see some changes to the Werewolf so it's more useful. Obviously if I shift I can't heal my team, so right there that's a big loss four a four-man party. Bigger issue is though, my Werewolf can't heal itself either. So it really isn't that sustainable.

I don't see the ultimate complaints now that they've lowered it quite so much, if you devour it seems to give back 3/4 of the bar and you really can kill 2-3 groups devouring as you go if you have high stamina.

I think they said Werewolf changes were farther down the road because they're actually reasonably powerful if used in a coordinated way; and in order for them to be powerful individual they need a somewhat comprehensive redesign to avoid making them the OP FotM overnight.

I'm not talking PvP though, PvP is always a crapshoot in these kinds of games.

obviously your refering to PVP and soloing. its not just trials, its the Group dungeons, DPS checks are quite large in COH as well the dumbing down and watering of the VR zones made the Gap less noticable.. And clinging to the trinity? Hell man there is no trinity in this game it all DPS i dont know where you got that from. And the trinity system works for those that enjoy group content and mechanics . those who pvp and solo dont like it though.

This game is not realy for the player who enjoys true MMo's in all honesty. Niche mechanics like tanking in light armor (DPS with a taunt really) and NB 2h in PVP, sure different interesting things but not really very popular even though we use them many dont like the one trick pony show.
