This is not Dark Age of Tamriel. If it ever becomes such yo can expect to see the ES people leave in droves.

I can't help but lol at your ignorance. You should read up on the lead director of ESO a bit.

People always compare this game to DAoC... I played DAoC at release it was far from ready to be played... Many zone had no mobs +in hib cursed forest had yet to be itemized so there was no armor past 40 lol...Talking about balance it was terriable at first it took them about 6 months to get to better balance. Some classes were over nerfed as a result.. DAoC became a great RVR game but it took time...
This game had and has some balance issues, but this game is sitting at a much better spot then DAoC after 4 months.. Many people started playing DAoC just a few years after release.. By that time things were 100% better... Also keep in mind the balance issues with a PVP game its always needing adjusting....... today DAoC with its tiny staff and its small die hard pop, still are making adjustments...
Some of you might wonder why PEOPLE talk about a game that is so small now..DAoC sold out to EA that was its death nail...After the sale people started to leave DAoC warhammer was the new thing..After the fall of failhammer DAoC was in way doomed....
The negative part is the response time to game breaking things such as bat swarm at release....I wish response time was better...

This game isn't the same as DAOC's RVR though in my opinion.
DAOC had a realm rank system that truly made you feel like realm points were crack, and you couldn't get enough. Hopefully they implement that in this game.
But more importantly, DAOC had a class ability system that emphasized class synergy. In general, the group combat was much more complex and strategic since there was much more crowd control that you had to stand still to cast and would get interupted if hit. This game seems more like an insta spam fest...and seems a bit mindless at times, which I guess some people like. But it's not my cup of tea, and it doesn't make this game stand out in a way like daoc RVR did.
I love PvP in this game, it just needs bugs & performance to be addresed and give better rewards to be superfun.
