That's nice. I would do that too. It's a much better feeling doing something good than doing something egoistic.

I accidentally sent someone both the promised items & their price because I had not properly clicked on the COD button, they could have taken both and run but were very honest and paid me in full.

Nice to be pleasantly surprised by people.

I negotiated a deal of provisioning mats of 10 pieces for a certain amount of COD. The dude send triple the amount of the mats with same COD, so I returned the rest. He seemed pleased even though it wasn't anything expensive to begin with. Just common courtesy.

That doesn't seem out of the ordinary, at least to me.

The idea of exploiting someone's mistake may turn on some socially underdeveloped twit who's mother didn't love them enough to beat manners into them... but my Mama raised a Southern Lady and that sort of thing just isn't proper.

I've made mistakes selling stuff on accident with the CoD. I don't even realize it mostly unless the person is honest and sends me the money, but a lot of times I send the money right back. I like rewarding honesty.

I think its great to see more honest players. I have spent a lot of time in low level zones lately and the new players seem to have a better sense of community. I've seen less grumblings in zone chat about players getting ripped off. This is a nice change from the 1st few weeks after release.

My main is maxed out on all but enchanting and most of my research traits are complete. Whenever I buy traits I always make sure to give a little extra for the hassle of swapping alts or for a large order. Usually if i'm on my crafting character and someone asks for a trait in chat i'll send them one at no charge.

My mom made SURE i knew what treating a lady was supposed to be like. The belt and a few stern words can do wonders for raising a polite young man that grows into a well mannered polite old man with a happy life/wife. I often thank my mom for that.

Someone on the starter island of Kenarthi asked where in the heck can I get a restoration staff. I sent him one in the mail and /zone was kinda....shocked. I guess its coming from rp/pvp doac were community mattered alot more than some silly lil resto staff.

I've done that several times when someone in /zone asks to buy an item with a certain trait. If I can make it, I'll just send it to them for free. With base mats coming out my ears, why not?

Same. I've even been known to stop what I'm doing, alt-hop to the crafter toon and send the item by mail.

I was buying some legendary armor for 4k a piece and gave the person 8k for each piece on accident (This was the first month of release) and realized a little while later sent a mail telling them I gave them more money on accident hoping to get some back. The *** never replied or anything I just hope karma got to him/her.

    What a beautiful thread.

I really like helping people out and when people are nice back, that's its own reward. Yesterday I crafted someone some basic armour for the fee of a thank you.

A couple of days ago, someone in zone asked to buy a motif...Dunmer, I think. Since I had a couple waiting for alts in my bank, I decided to sell him one. I've never bought nor sold one before, so I had no idea about pricing and arbitrarily asked for an amount that I thought might be a bit on the low side, but I don't much care about in-game money. He told me it usually goes for more and gave me that amount in trade. Was a lovely experience.
