Well, the GPU is overkill for ESO especially if you consider that you only run on Full HD. A 280x is totally fine and still has a lot of space for future gaming.

Even a 270x would run fine, but since you want to OC the msi 280x is perfect for it. That said, they are hard to get due the massive demands by the gamers and Overclockers so it could not be in stock at your local dealer.

If for some reason you don't like AMD, a 770 GTX is a good alternative and has about the same performance like AMD, but costs 100 bucks more and wont run Mantle plus only has 2 GB VRAM. Its great for shadowplay however, not sure if you stream while playing?

Since you want to OC your system, go for a low profile RAM of 1.5V at 1600MHz, CL9.

Rest looks alright to me, good mobo, PSU etc.

I have a GTX780Ti and had a GTX780 up to two months ago.
(my CPU is an i7 4820K with 8GB DDR2300 in quad channel).

If you plan to buy a system "now", for general gaming, that is perfectly fine above and going to serve you well.

I would advice you to look for the GTX780 6GB, if you plan later on to get to 2560x1440/1600 or even 4K, as the game with everything maxed out plus ESO Launcher defaults, needs 2.8GB or VRAM (graphic card RAM) in Cyrodiil currently.

(Can be seen if you setup the overlay on MSI Afterburner).

As for FPS, a GSync monitor will sort out any low fps issue also with it's variable sync.
I have pre-ordered the Acer 4K Gsync one, due Sept 5th, so might need to buy a second 780Ti, however happily I will inform the people here how game performs at that resolution, both in PVE and in Cyrodiil

Regarding lag.

I would advice you to look for an ISP that has priority traffic package for gaming.
I do have such package on mine, and while on 2.6Mbit line (rural England), I have no issues with lag even on big zerg fights.

And since the server moved to Germany, last two days, my performance improved more. Surviving at 2% hp and managing to pull heals etc. Something before was impossible and had to be careful of my health bar when it drop to 10%, trying to compensate for "lag". (fyi 25-30ms to the new server compared to 120ms previously).
