Bosses not dropping loot

I've just killed 2 world bosses and the boss at the end of a delve and wasn't able to loot any of them. Is this something new that has been implemented or some kind of bug? I have done hundreds of these things in the past and never had a boss not drop loot.
It was the first time killing these bosses on this character so I can't see it being the loot timer that I have heard of.

✭✭✭✭✭There is a ten minute timer on boss loot now which is account shared, if you kill a boss any character on that account can't receive full loot for ten minutes.
It sounds like this might be your issue however if as you stated you didn't get any loot at all for the first boss it could be a bugged loot table on the first then the timer for the following ones.
Give it ten minutes then head back and kill one again to see if you gain anything.@Turelus - EU PC Megaserver

✭✭✭✭Were there other people there? Ive never had this problem alone, but i have had it happen with others around. It seems you get credit for the kill with just one hit, but you don't get credit for loot unless you do a certain amount of damage.0 -

Vuron✭✭✭✭✭This has happened to me many times. I noticed it happening this week when I was soloing bosses at my level. I can't think of any reason not to get loot when you are killing bosses at your level, solo, and for the first time.

Logan9a✭✭✭Once you kill a world boss once, your xp goes down to a random mob's. I've never gotten any really noteworthy treasure from any of the world bosses I've killed. Usually it is a 'one and done' thing.

I think most of the bosses have a blue item their level on their loot table. People use to farm bosses for it. But you aren't really missing anything since most the stuff isn't all that great. Just blue.1 -
GaldorP✭✭✭✭✭I noticed this too. When I killed a world boss in VR 8 Rivenspire for the first time with my VR 8 char it gave no loot at all. This happend with other world bosses as well (about 2 or 3 of them in VR 8-10 zones) when I killed them for the first time with that char (and I hadn't killed them with any other char for at least one month). Each time I had also done a lot of damage to the boss and one was even soloed.
It didn't bother me though, since the main reason for me to do these bosses is the VP reward I get when I kill them for the first time and the achievement

✭✭I think I get drops from world bosses maybe 1 out of 3 times. Delve bosses usually give something, but I tend not to hold me breath. I don't really worry about it though. Loot is spiffier when you get the luck of the drop -vs- expecting it every time.2 -

They were all within a level or two of me.Are you over leveled for those world bosses? It seems like if they die too fast they don't give loot.
I'm not really fussed about getting rare loot but they do normally drop full soul gems which are handy for charging my weapons and resing. You also get green items fairly regularly, which is handy because I'm on a low level alt. I only killed them to clear them on my map, I was just surprised to not even be able to loot the body as I have never seen that before with a boss.Once you kill a world boss once, your xp goes down to a random mob's. 10 minutes between kills on a boss mob in order to get loot and the unique drop from them.

✭✭✭✭✭I've gotten some hard to acquire item traits from the world boss drops that have eluded me in my mass grinding/farming of normal mobs which helped fill out my research list nicely. At this point I'm just missing 3 things, Impenetrable Light Leggings and Weighted for both Ice and Lightning Staves; I have literally everything else at or researching 8/8 traits. A comprehensive list would be nice though, I'm too lazy to keep on farming each boss to see what they can drop.0 -

✭✭It's really simple.
Regular dungeon and delve bosses normally spawn every 5 minutes. Occasionally the boss will respawn within 2 minutes if someone comes along that is on a quest for that specific boss or hasn't killed it before.
You must wait 10 minutes between kills on a boss in order to get any loot and/or their unique drop (usually blue). Bosses, even if you wait the 10 minutes, don't always drop the unique loot.
If you are more than 5 levels above the level of the boss, you will not receive any xp or loot at all.
I've farmed many a boss in several dungeons with a stopwatch and the results have always been consistent.Edited by dharbert on August 2, 2014 2:04PM0 -
egosumacunnus✭✭✭I have this problem every 10 or so bosses and i have not killed a boss in the last 10 minutes.
It is a bug, report and it move along.If real life had a block function i would go out more.
Proud to have spent a year paying to BETA test ESO for consoles.
