Question about the Steam version

When Elder Scrolls Online comes out on PS4 and XBone you can transfer your PC data to those Consoles. Couldn't you do the same from the regular PC version to the Steam bought version of the game?

That might become an option, but people need to realize that Valve has a say in that. They control what you can and can't do with their platform.----
