How do i kill mannimarco?

Don't chase him (if u are melee). That's what he wants you to do. Use mostly ranged weapons and aoe. Let the Companions pull their share of the load. Use FG skills if u have 'em (I like silver shards) on the undead horde. You can also stay near Varen Aquilarios aka "the Prophet" for extra healing. Either way, stay out of the fray, the key is your ability to out-last him.
I don't comment here often but when I do, I get [snip]
Are you up close and in his face? You can't block the attack. You have to be within melee range, simultaneously hold the right mouse button down, and tap the left to jam the staff right into his face.
yeah im right in his face and im doing the jam staff thing, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I even have extra health and still getting annihilated, I'm losing the will to live lol.

Does Shield Charge interrupt Mannimarco? I could always do that and then Bash him if not. I got him down to like 120 health with my DK the other night after being killed 4 times, but my armor was so decayed that I could not see me trying the 5th time.

I tried wacking him with the staff that works sometimes, I had food and potions etc.. before the fight too and keep dying. Im so close to giving up!

Did you eventually defeat him?

I have not gone back yet with the DK.

I needed to go back and level my NB who is my HA Crafter, so I have been playing that character. I dread taking my NB through the MQ, but perhaps his Shield Charge will interupt Manni. And, my Sorc was close to Level 38 on her staff so I could get Impulse so I leveled her some. Then once I found out how much fun Impulse is, I could not stop playing her. So, she is now on the cusp of Coldharbor and still has not done the first Mannimarco fight so I now have to take her through the MQ too. So, I need to take my DK back to Manni but my Alts have been distracting me. I think tonight I will just take my 3 characters through the parts of the MQ they have not done yet.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

jesus, don't use heavy armor, it has terrible returns. Or at least drop it for light or medium (depending on your play style, but light has the most returns) for this fight. Even with 5 pieces of heavy armor my DK alt has overcharged ac.

I melee'd mannimarco but this was so long ago I forget the details. It's quite possible I used a bow for some of it, but I really suspect I just used dual wield. I probably used whirlwind for the ghosts but that will eat through your stamina. I know I didn't have leeching strikes which is essential for a nb.

DK should have no problem with him, since you'll be at a level where you can throw down banner and GDB through any damage you take.
Dear Sister, I do not spread rumors, I create them.

Sometimes it pays to tap that left mouse button a couple/few times. Granted it uses stamina each time, but once the interrupt sticks, you have plenty of time to regenerate stamina before you need it again. And the added benefit that you'll deal minor damage, maybe disoriented the enemy, and sometimes knock him on his butt (though since he's a boss encounter he may be immune to knockdown). Two or three really quick jabs in the face is pretty much guaranteed an interrupt though.

Anybody who's played a dual wield character has this down to an art form.

Need to range this guy. Don't try to melee him. Burn down the adds as soon as they come up. When he jumps, just get back into range. Remember you can drink every 30sec. Don't wait till you NEED to drink; drink as soon as it will be all used. Then it will be ready again. If you are stamina ranged DPS, then stay on the move so if you have to get out of red, you don't have to roll.

Good Luck!

Quite the opposite, melee this guy always when u can, so when the light beam comes interrupt it as fast as possible, stay out of the red when that comes of course

Mannimarco teleports the farthest away possible before he hits you with the life-steal attack, so you will never be in melee range to interrupt when he uses it. Fighting him melee is a really bad idea because you'll waste stamina trying to get out of the red, and the red is big enough that you can't dodge out of it in time to avoid getting hit.

Yayyyy well done there! I know a lot of people think it is a fairly straightforward fight, but I think you will find you have done the hardest one now. Apart from when you get to VR dungeons :)

Congrats!

Of course now you need to summarize everything you did, from preparation pre fight, to the killing blow. =)

well I have beaten him like 6 times now, and its just getting easier and easier, last was with a templar, I just jumped melee all the time so I could interrupt, and dropped nova on adds.

I sincerely don't understand what is all that trouble with Mannimarco's fight?

I did it with my Nightblade using dualwield and I stayed in melee range the whole fight while barely loosing any health. I used Blood Craze, Steel Tornado, Funnel Health, Ambush, Shadowy Disguise and Soul Harvest.

Basicaly what I did was :
- I refreshed Blood Craze and Funnel Health every 8sec to bolster my health up during the fight.
- Kept my stamina for Steel Tornado to bust the ghosts when they were summoned, they are very fragile and very suceptible to AoE dmg.
- Ambushed Mannimarco whenever he would teleport to be quickly back in range so i could bash his lifedrain.
and thats all I had to do to keep myself alive realy.

I didn't even had to use my Shadowy Disguise for mitigation, neither did I had to switch to my bow or use potions. I even got hit a couples of times by his AoEs and I still ended up that fight barely injured, and I was lvl 40 at that time.

So realy guys? What's up with that fight? Are you running the fight naked or without any healing abilities on both of your skill bars?

I'm pleased the OP has made it.

If this is really the hardest fight in the game then it's been nerfed to hell. The beta Dothia was harder. Certainly the pre nerf extract Abner Tharn, Manimarco fight was harder. The Lyriss Doppelganger was much harder pre nerf.

I guess I'll send the Vampire Witch in naked to face Molag Bal.
