Would you prefer if group content were very limited or free of dialogues / NPC interaction?

I have seen quite a few complaints about players not being able to follow the story while in a group. I too have similar problem and usually I skip the dialogues entirely.
One of the solutions would be to make group content slightly different i.e. strip it of lengthy dialogues/explanations and focus on action. Would you prefer such solution? Please note quest giver would introduce the short story at the beginning and grant any reward/s at the end so our vote refers to what happens in between.

I only endure group content for quests and story-lines, if they were removed I'm probably never 'group up' at all .. I don't count open-world 'group' content as such as you don't need to be in a party.

I always take the time to listen to what quest people have to say, and I read the quest-related books and scrolls I come across. If the rest of the group wants to skip it and charge ahead without their tank, it's fine by me. They probably have some soul gems they want to expend. :|

It's very rare I can group with anyone who is interested in listening to the story and as a result, whenever I'm in a group I miss the entire plot. I pretty much play the game solo as much as possible whenever lore is involved.

Sadly I have missed the plot in every group dungeon. Maybe some day when I'm veteran rank 500 I can go and revisit these dungeons I originally had to complete as a group.

It would be wise to have a check feature in place like at SWTOR. Unless all players clicked "go" the group can not proceed. By doing so everyone could enjoy the story and lore and would not feel pressured to rush through dungeons.

I saw in FFXIV what happens with no such locks and agree with you .. except the moment ZOS put in a /kick feature the lock would become useless.

I stop and listen/read the dialogues. If someone else runs forward and 86's themselves, no skin off my back. Maybe they have a whole bunch of soulstones and endless gold for gear repairs.

I would like to have the opportunity to skip the interaction especially when repeating content.

Space bar spamming in SWTOR since 2011! :P

I mean, it kind of sucks for group content because the one time I tried to sit and listen to the NPC's, my group ran off and started the fight without me.

This was bad when I was the healer...

So if we're gonna miss the content anyways, might as well not even be there

No, let me enjoy the story, I don't want to skip anything and I shouldn't be forced to. In fact, I hate when the other person in my group ends up being a rusher, and just skips the dialogue, triggering the next phase.
At least make it that all players must have spoken to the NPC fully before the next quest phase / event begins.
