Is a free respec coming?

I thought I read somewhere there was a free respec in 1.3, but can't seem to find it now. Can someone confirm, or deny?

They did say when they start moving from VR to Champion they would offer a free re-specs, and then cheaper ones (about 100g) for any subsequent re-specs due to skill-line changes.
At least that's how I understood it

✭✭Your first respec as of update 3, will be free. Then, for the remainder of the week update 3 is released, respecs will cost extremely cheap(100g total or something super low like that)
Then the price will slowly increase to a more "balanced level" in the coming weeks when ZOS re-asses their plans of how respecing should cost/work. In addition, they will offer cheap economic alternatives when the price goes back up at a steady balanced rate. Ex: Pay full respec price for a clean sweep, or, pay just 100g to change one skill morph. So, if it's just morphs you want, you pay a small fee just to change skill morphs, per skill.Edited by Lord_Hev on July 28, 2014 8:46PM2 -

Well if they go ahead with it around the time of update 5 then that's about 12 weeks away.
Remember though, that they said it wouldn't all be happening at once. So by that I'm assuming they will phase in the changes over a period of time (but nothing has been said about a time-scale for that)

That is the one I am waiting for. I have a couple of morphs where I went "Doh!!!" after making them. I miss my Clanfear.

There was a time during PTS that they were costing about 80k gold. You should have felt lucky with your 20k respecs.

✭currently, the respec system on PTS is 1g per skill, i know this because you are getting charged 199g for 199 skill points... its actually been like this for a while now.

Well, that will be nice. That'll give me the opportunity to remorph items just to skill them up while doing VR content. I can re-respect back to ideal as needed. Seriously two orders of magnitude difference makes the cost negligible...will it scale with respecing more often.NA MegaServer
