Auridon - North Beacon quest - end quest not showing?

Strange thing, my VR finished that quest, got the reward, then WhoEver-Gave-Me-That-Quest opened a portal for me to go talk to someone - but I took a bit of time to check containers and open doors, remembering from my first lvl 1-50 roll that there was a Skyshard there. When I came back to use the portal, it was gone.

Now the quest won't show as completed on my map, even though it no longer appears in my quest log. I'm guessing it was supposed to lead me to another quest, anybody knows where?

From what I remember, that portal does little other than provide a quick shortcut back outside (to save having to traipse through the whole place backwards).

There's two quests required to complete North Beacon: The Wayward Dagger, and Eye Spy. They are parallel and one doesn't follow on from the other.

Thanks for replying, Enodoc. I completed both these quests I think, so maybe it's just a map marker bug...
I got the reward and the money, but not the XP points, that's strange...

Hmm, how strange. It may be worth checking your inventory to see if you have both the rewards (assuming you haven't sold/deconstructed them yet). You should have Keeneye Belt from Eye Spy, and War-Mage's Cowl from The Wayward Dagger.

Yeah, I still have the Cowl and clearly remember deconstructing the belt as I pondered a little before I did...
