Yup ZoS should use logic and common sense to determine that Blocking shouldn't be 360 degrees when you shoot FIREBALLS out the end of a Wooden stick. We could go on forever back and forth with different abilities that make no sense but it's moot. Block in ESO is 360 degrees, and why are you fighting Emperors and complaining about Block? Also, while it's annoying in PvP changing it away from 360 degrees would mean death in PvE with enough mobs since the way the AI is they can surround you completely until you cannot move.

You said "make it 230 degrees or something like that so people actually have a chance against a 6k health dude" and the only way to achieve 6K health is to be Emperor. There is nothing to fix, Because there is no such thing as never ending blocking in this game. I mean it takes but playing a shield user in pvp once, To know that you've never actually played one in PvP. How do I know this? Because I've ran the absolute best setups for blocking, I'm talking 5 Heavy/3 Block Cost Reduction Jewelry Glyphs with Defensive Posture in PvP..and I can flat out tell you, Your stamina will be gone incredibly quick in pvp even with that..If you don't run Block Cost Reduction Jewelry, and you're in light....and you've not stacked stamina, Like most of the people you're talking about..You're sure as hell not never ending blocking anything.

Ohh really ranged only? Tell me about how melee is currently... You attack a DK? Standard, Talons, etc. while Blocking like a god, so melee vs DK... No way.
Melee vs Templar with blazing shield or/and impulse/pulsar (600+dmg per pulse )etc.... no way... Sorcerer? Probably using fragments what is ranged, bolting away from you or just spammint impulse/pulsar anyway.
So..... exept if you are DK, there is no way for melee, currently ranged is prefered so dont talk crap about how it were if block would not be 360 degree. ESO currently RANGED game.

DK -> better dont get into talons and standard so go RANGED
Templar -> blazing shield + aoe spam, so go RANGED
Sorcerer -> he is a pulsar or fragmenter so go RANGED
Melee is only good if more attacking one guy (not a DK god), or ambushing one (maybe).
A 20 man train died today after like 10-15 ppl gone ranged and killed em from RANGE...
So what exactly will change?
Its not raging. If they dont change, they dont. DKs remain an OP joke, train will be train, all will be the same. It was an idea for removing OP ness without nerfing a class. I can avoid blockers, aoe spammers, but some want to play fair, and have fun, like they would play in a decent Elder Scroll game.

A. I play a Stamina DK, and I melee vs Caster DK's all the time..and I have no problem.
B. Templar's you'd have a valid complaint against, I still melee against them, But its moving in an out of melee range to avoid getting blown up by Blazing Shield.
C. Sorcs are zero problems for my Stamina DK. They can run away..But that's about it.
D. I'm surprised ya didn't mention NB.
E. ESO isn't currently a Ranged Game, Impulse is one of the main spells used in the game, and its not Ranged.. DK you don't go Ranged against because they're going to reflect anything ranged back at you, Templars you can't go ranged against because they're just going to charge on top of you to do Blazing Shield Spam, and Sorcs you don't need to go ranged against, You can simply charge and kill them or force them to run.
You're also aware those Impulse trains you're talking about aren't blocking while they're running around right?
Of course ya don't..That would require actually pvping for once in a game...And judging by your suggestions up above, You've only ever read about PvP not actually done it.
